"I'm sorry, Mom," Andrea apologized.
Therese stared at her and studied her face. "Why are you saying sorry?" she asked confusedly.
"Because I'm always reminding you of what Dad did. Seeing me everyday probably reminds you how Dad cheated and ends up having a child with his mistress, and that child is me. The child you raised as your daughter," Andrea explained bravely because she didn't know when and where she would be able to talk to her mother like this.
