CHAPTER FOUR The raucous commotion from outside the tiny jailer's office creased abruptly when the cellblock door began to creak open. All of the men, including Sheriff Potter, turned to watch as this helpless black girl slipped nervously from inside the cellblock to face her captors. "Her name's Lucille, boys... it says so here on her ID. Say hello to the boys, Lucille... come on, now, don't be afraid," he smirked as he beckoned her inside.
