"Get inside the car!"
The man in the Tom Ford suit said as he opened the door of a military grade armored Escalade.
"How about my bike!"
Kyle screamed pointing towards the direction of the garage.
"Forget your bike."
"Lord Scott, your life is more important to me right now…get in immediately!"
Mark hurriedly got in, and the man drove off immediately.
Moments later, Mark is staring at the huge man driving the Escalade.
"Sorry to ask, but who are you again?" Mark immediately questioned as they were far off from the Silicon high University view.
The man remained silent, he was putting on dark shades that made it really hard to see his face in a way.
"I asked a question and I demand an answer immediately."
Mark yelled out immediately as he was now getting uncomfortable with the whole situation.
Looking behind him, he immediately noticed that they were already on their way outside of Silicon high.
He became nervous and swallowed a heavy lump as he stared at the man who was still focused on the road not minding him at all.
"Help!!!
“Help me!!!"
Mark screamed as they sped past a police vehicle.
"Relax Lord Scott, you are perfectly safe and in good hands. For the record no one can hear you scream."
"This is a titanium forged Escalade, it's the only one in the world and it belongs to your dad."
The man said, his voice was barely above whispers as he was more focused on the road.
Mark immediately stopped trying to open the door and stared at the man.
"Wait, did I just hear you say my dad?"
Mark asked immediately as he put his hand into his bag trying to retrieve his phone.
"Yes, your dad, Lord Scott."
"My name is Williams Dave , I used to be the personal guard to your dad Stephen Scott before his sudden jet crash."
The words of Williams Dave immediately hit Kyle like bomb.
Mark couldn't believe his ears, he stared at him as he pulled up the military grade Escalade in front of an old restaurant outside of Silicon High.
"If I heard you right, you said you knew my dad? How sure am I that you are telling the truth?"
Mark asked, his voice laced with a mixture of confusion and anxiety.
"Well, here is my ID card and this vehicle is proof also, your dad and I are the only ones that can access it."
“Sadly he alongside your Mom were assassinated and they blamed it on the jet crash."
Williams Dave said finally removing his dark shades.
His gaze was fixated on Mark who had his jaw dropping on Williams Dave revelation.
"Why should I believe your bold claim?. The media said my parents death was caused by an electrical malfunction on the dashboard of the jet."
“And what's with the big scar on your face”.
Mark said as he stared aksance at Williams Dave, with thoughts going on in his head.
"Let's forget about the media, I have enough reason to believe that your parents' jet was sabotaged…I just haven't figured out who would want them dead."
"More importantly, why would they want Mr Stephen and Mariah Scott dead?"
Williams Dave said as he hit his hand on the steering blaring the horn loudly.
"None of this makes sense to me… why would someone want my parents dead?"
Mark asked, his voice barely above whispers with frustration and anxiety reeking all over his face.
"It doesn't matter Lord Scott, you and I will get to the bottom of all this, I promise you."
"What I'm yet to understand is why your dad had sent me out of his jet that very day of the crash."
"It was as though he knew something was going to happen."
Williams Dave said, his voice barely above whispers.
He immediately clenched his fist so tight in anger and frustration.
Mark only stared at the whole thing in shock, this was an entirely different story from what the media had reported and what he knew all his life.
"Are you saying that my parents were murdered and there was no jet crash?"
Mark asked, his eyebrows furrowed in a mixture of bewilderment and anxiety.
"I have this theory that the jet crash must have been a cover-up or something…and also your life is at risk."
"What I really don't get is why and how your parents, Mr Stephen and Mariah Scott, were able to hide their son from not just the world but me also, their personal guard."
Williams Dave asked as he stared into the roof of the Escalade.
"I never knew you existed until recently during my investigation."
Williams Dave said as he held Mark by the hand.
"What are you doing?"
Mark asked, his voice was laced with confusion as Williams Dave brought out a scanner that had a symbol that Mark recognises to belong to the Silicon High royal Bank.
"To be certain, just place your palm on the scanner."
Williams said as he turned on the biometric scanner.
Mark was fearful at first but slowly and carefully placed his palm on the biometric scanner and it turned on immediately.
"Welcome back Lord Scott, it's been 23 years."
The robotic voice from the biometric scanner came alive.
"Last log on one of your auxiliary account balances is 850 billion dollars."
"Do you wish to perform any transaction, Lord Scott?"
Mark Scott couldn't believe his eyes as he stared at the tablet in his hand.
"Ah… no that would be all for now."
His voice laced with exhilaration as the tablet powered down.
"I don't understand… what is going on right now?"
"Lord Scott, you are the only child and heir to the Scott's Empire."
"Here, it belongs to your mom, it's an elite ATM card, I'm not sure how much is logged in on it, but I can assure you it's over 75 billion dollars."
Williams Dave said as he handed the card over to Mark.
"Wait, I'm a billionaire…. I can't believe this!"
Mark yelled in exhilaration as he stared at the tablet.
"Lord Scott, I want you to do something very impo
rtant for me."
Mark immediately stared at Williams Dave, as his demeanor changed from exhilaration to anxiety.
"What is it, Mr Williams Dave?"
