Chapter 3

"Where are you taking me to?" Annalisa asked as she crossed her arms on her chest. She c****d her head to the side while directing her gaze to the woman who sat opposite her in the limo. "You'll know once you get there, ma'am." The professional air the woman had made sure there was no room for further questions. She nodded curtly before directing her gaze to the dark window. God knew how many times she had prevented herself from scolding the ginger head in the limo with her. Although she was not as intolerable as the heir of Flamingheart firm, the woman would rather not be with either of them. Hearing another word from Anna's lip would give her the urge to pull her hair from the roots. But due to being professional, she maintained her usual professional facade. When her master told her he was going to be picking one of the famous models from Stormout, she had no idea the person would have foul behavior. Well... Now, she knew. If there'd be another she was asked to pick, she would gladly object. Anna was still not over the fact that the face she was going to use to get her money was ruined by that arrogant scumbag. She couldn't deny the fact that he was handsome although he got on her nerve. Why was she even thinking of him...? Anna frowned and raised her leg to kick the opposite chair. She scrunched her reddened nose before looking away with a glare. The woman opposite her had her eyes slammed shut immediately. Her face was red and veins were popping on her forehead at the same time. Annalisa never noticed this as she was too busy making herself not think about you-know-who. ... Draven's lips twisted in contempt as soon as he heard those words from Ylvia's mouth. The woman had bowed her head in apology under his murderous stare. The temperature of the room went down to zero degrees and it made her uncomfortable. It felt as though the Angel of death was frolicking around her skin, daring her to raise her head. "Sorry, not sorry." Draven's velvety voice rang out while a bone-cracking sound filled the air. He knew he wasn't supposed to kill humans as it would be a great toil to his wolf, but he already had a terrific day. Such betrayal from his assistant could render him in a killing mode all of a sudden. His clawed hand stretched toward the woman's neck and a squishy but solid noise was heard. The gushing sounds of her blood splashing in the room didn't make him feel better either. Her headless body collapsed on the cold floor while her head was thrown toward the white wall. The impact at which it was thrown left a small dent in it as he roared. There was a gentle but careful knock on the door and he whipped his head to it. "What is it!?" He snarled out, heading toward the door with his bloody hand. "M-master, we found something." A shaky voice replied from behind. Draven's foul expression cracked and almost within a second and became blank. His voice came out calm as he ordered the person to come in. Because he had been terrified of the current situation his Alpha was in, the young man was hesitant to come in. But do not keep this man waiting, he had to bottle in his fears. The door opened and a honey-blonde male who looked like he was to be in his second year in high school walked in. He was dressed in a black suit like those bodyguards who worked for the Alpha. He was the new delta in charge of taking care of the Alpha's warriors, hunters, and healers. One can also say he was the one that was given the most undercover missions along with some of the warriors deemed trustworthy by the Alpha. "Alpha..." He cast his glance at the headless body in the room before he scrunched his nose in disgust. "Speak." Draven's eyes rolled to the back of his head as he gave that instruction. "Sir... We found something about her. She is Annalisa Patro, Flaminghearts' newest face for their products." He breathed out. Draven snickered after hearing that. Newest face... That would mean he was slapped by an unknown model for one of the companies he partnered with. What was funny was that he was powerful enough to make sure she never signed a deal with any of the cosmetic firms in Knockway. "Annalisa Patro..." Her name rolled out smoothly from his mouth as his gaze on his bloodied hand softened. The honey-blonde man could only sigh in relief that for once his Alpha never had to give off that scary vibe. But again, seeing him act like this was another version of scary not greater than the way he originally was. "Annalisa." This time he could hear malice coming from the Alpha's lips. Uh-oh... That beautiful woman was in trouble and he could tell. Draven raised his eyes to meet with that of the young male before him. Eric jolted because his eyes met with Draven's sharp, blue ones. "Get my cell phone." A wry smile crept on his lips as he said that. So creepy... Eric could only think as he rushed out of the room immediately. There was no way he would waste his time as it was present for the man who gave out an order. ... Anna pouted her lips as she re-adjusted herself for the nth time. She raised her brow when her ears picked up the vibration cell phone coming from the woman who acted as a little tour guide to her. The woman's elegant fingers slid on the surface of her phone screen and the call was lifted. She put the phone on her ear. "Yes?" Her voice was firm as she addressed the caller. There was a bored look in her eyes which was later replaced with an astounding look. "Yes!" She sat upright and gave a skimming look at Annalisa whose lips twitched at the way she was being stared at. Anna never knew why she had the feeling something was going to change her plans. She just had that feeling. "Affirmative." The woman's stunned expression was replaced with a blank one. As soon as the call ended, she spoke in a commanding, professional voice. "Stop the car." Well, she knew it. Never doubt intuition! Anna scoffed and took her arms from her chest. "You're dropping me here? Not bad. Just needed to remind you that I'd be screaming about what Flaminghearts did to me once I'm back in Stormont." "Throw her out." The woman's voice was stern. A slow smirk crept on her face as she kept her eyes glued to Annalisa's. A thud was heard and she picked herself up. She could not help but giggle as soon as she heard the door to the limo close. The vehicle rode off, kicking itintosmoke to her lungs.
