Chapter 23: Little Haven
After what happened to Marvin and me, I didn't really expect him to come and see me again that weekend. However, I was more confident of his loyalty to me. Although I still have some questions about my last phone call with his mom, I didn't bother asking him anymore. I would hold on to his love and his promise of forever to me. "Looking better today, Jann." Amanda greeted enthusiastically. "Yeah, true. You look better. Looks like you satisfactorily resolved your little problem with babe." said Maya who made me chuckled. "Yes. We did some clarifications." I answered proudly. "So, want to spill the bean?" asked Amanda. "Well, the lady who answered the phone was actually his mom. So, in short, he wasn't cheating." I proudly said. "Nice. That's great to know." Amanda exclaimed joyfully.
