“Sophia!” Stan said as he rushed towards me with glee all over his face.
“Oh my…” I heard Angela’s usual expression as she followed suit and I accepted both hugs happily.
Leo’s deception still gnawed strongly at the back of my mind, but I wasn’t planning on letting it affect my initial plan of surprise.
I laughed happily as the both narrated how they spent the days without me.
“We didn’t expect to see you till tomorrow or next.” Angela said as I smiled knowingly at her.
“Yes. I planned on surprising all of you.” I informed her as Edgar continued bringing in the bags.
“Either ways, I am so glad…a part of me thought you’d miss my birthday.” Stan said with a grin.
I roughed his hair with my fingers, as I said,” I can’t miss it for the world.”
