Nicholas's POV:
“We’ll increase patrols along the borders immediately,” I said, meeting the eyes of each council member in turn. “Double the shifts. Ensure every warrior is equipped and ready. We can’t afford to be caught off guard again.”
“The southern border needs immediate reinforcements,” Alex added. “If the rogues attacked there once, they’ll likely try again. We should set traps along the main entry points to slow them down.”
“What about the pack members?” William, another council member, asked. “Should they be informed?”
“Informing them would only cause panic,” James countered. “I think we should handle this on our own, Alpha.”
“The pack deserves to know,” Marcus argued. “If they’re aware of the threat, they’ll be more alert. That could save lives.”
