Alex’s POV: I ran through the woods in my wolf form, my paws pounding against the forest floor. The cool night air brushed against my fur, and Zeke, my wolf, tilted his head, gazing up at the sky. The moon had already dipped below the horizon, its light replaced by the faint hues of dawn creeping in as the sun began its slow ascent. Reluctantly, I shifted back to my human form, feeling the weight of the world return to my shoulders as the fur receded and my bare feet touched the damp earth. The mansion was quiet when I returned.
