Stephanie's POV:
A splash of cold liquid hit my face, jolting me awake. My eyes fluttered open, still hazy, my mind struggling to catch up with reality.
We found her
Those words echoed in my head. I shot up, my heart racing, trying to process what was happening. Where was I? Who had found me?
“You’re awake.” Akira’s familiar voice broke through the chaos in my mind, and my gaze snapped toward her.
There she was, standing right in front of me, her ever-present entourage of friends at her side. I blinked, stunned. Of all the people I expected, it wasn’t her. My confusion deepened. Was she responsible for the locator spell? Were they the ones who had brought me here?
“Why did you kidnap me?” I demanded, my voice cracking slightly. “Are you the one behind the locator spell?”
