Stephanie's POV: I let the cold shower wash over my head, calming my nerves. Aiden’s words from last night kept replaying in my mind. I couldn’t deny it—his words hurt me more than I wanted to admit. What I couldn’t understand was why it hurt this much. He barely knew me, yet he said such hateful things, as if he despised me with every fiber of his being. Why did he hate me so much?
