CHAPTER 21CINDY HEADED BACK TO the Target store and I took out the phone and texted Jim. “I need that address and code. I’ll call in the morning with a new phone.” We pulled up to Target and went in. After picking out a change of clothes, I said, “Cindy, the place we are going to will have a kitchen, so why don’t you do some grocery shopping and I will go get a new prepaid phone and meet you at checkout.”
After putting everything into the car, Cindy asked, “What now?”
“Are you hungry?” I asked.
“Yes,” was Cindy’s reply.
“Good. Let’s go back to Buon Gusto and have a good meal. That is probably the last place on earth they would be looking for us.”
