Dante's POV; I thought she was gone, after two years of searching, two years of waged wars with reckless fury because I thought she was gone, but she isn't and I've found her. 7 am in a luxury penthouse somewhere in New York I was staring at the city from my balcony when I suddenly received a message from my private investigator, it was about her, he says he's found a match , which meant she wasn't gone, he also sent an address. I rushed down to the address he gave me waiting across the street watching the bakery but still no signs of her, hours passed and I was about to give up when I saw her walk out of the bakery, she looked thinner her hair different, her dress was just a simple cotton dress not like the usual silks I remember her in. But one thing was for sure she was my piccola. The next morning I got to the bakery early I walked in and her eyes met mine I expected tears and screams but there was nothing her eyes held no warmth or affection in them and then it hits me she didn't know who I was. As she brought my order and our fingers made contact she flinched violently away from me and furious.
