To be fair, I almost never had people over. And they were a lot stricter with girls sleeping over than guys. The doormen had their mental lists with troublemakers and they were pretty lenient with everyone else. “This is me,” I said, showing him into the small room I lived in. It didn’t look small when it was empty like this. But once you figured there were four men sharing it, it got a little claustrophobic. There were two sets of bunk beds on each side of the room, and four small desks lined up along the windows. The small closets were on the opposing side of the beds, to the right and left of the door leading to the small hallway that we shared with the room next to us.
