From the corner of the house where Beth had hidden in the hedgerow, Jason Shepard watched as Beth emerged from the bushes and surrendered to Muscles. Muscles followed her closely, holding a g*n at his waist. Jason quietly closed the gap between them as they made their way back to the house where Paul and Beth were staying. When they arrived in the front yard, he heard Muscles yell, “I have her,” to those inside the house, and the responsive instruction from Alexandros to bring her inside. This was his final chance. He pulled out his Taser and closed the gap between them to five feet. Then, he said, “Hey, mister,” in a conversational voice. The man turned, but before he completed the turn, Jason fired and the man went down like wet cement.
