At 2:00 p.m., Jason Shepard sat in the lobby of Braddock and Mason. Jenny, the Firm’s receptionist walked out to Jason and said, “Mr. Mason is ready to see you now. Please follow me.”
Jason followed Jenny down an interior hallway to a large office and gestured that he should enter. Adam stood and extended a hand. “Hello, Mr. Shepard, please have a seat.” He added, “Thanks, Jenny,” and she turned to go.
“Thanks,” Jason said, sitting in one of the visitor chairs across Adam’s desk.
“So, you have an investment matter you wanted to discuss? How can I help you?”
Jason folded his hands and said, “No, I’m not looking for an investment consultant. I’m a private investigator hired by Mrs. Walker and the Walker Family Trust to figure out exactly what is going on with her account.”
