[Chapter 14] He's Soft

~ ASHER'S POV ~

I couldn't help, but snuggle into Mr. Roman's side while it kept thundering outside. Of course, me being a grown 16 year old boy comfortable even be afraid of thunderstorms - life's not full of rainbows and unicorns, so why should this be?

I tilted my head up just to see if Mr. Roman was actually asleep, and wouldn't you know he actually was. Taking it upon myself - I decided that I should at least take a closer look at my "savior" who's currently cuddling me I'll remind you.

His features was really ... how should I say this - HOT ! Everything about him was perfect. His voice, personality, face, freaking everything about him was too much for me to handle.

" I fuxking sound like a stupid horny teenage girl .."

* Ahem * Any who, like I was saying, Mr. Roman is the a full package, and frankly I don't know why he hasnt found a wife yet? Better yet, I haven't heard much about his family much now that I think about it.

My face suddenly started to heat up like usual when I felt a hand move on my waist. Next think I know, I'm being face to face with Mr. Roman and get this - his eyes was glowing ?

"What's wrong, you can't sleep?" Mr. Roman suddenly asks me, with his husky voice that makes me weak.

Me being my goofe ball self, I couldn't form a sentence to save my life. It was so much better to admire him while he was sleeping, but not like this!

"O - oh .. III ... ummm." All I could hear was his cute laugh at me. Honestly, that just made the situation even worse for me, because he's hot - but also because his little laugh is damn cute!

" Fxck me in the ass I tell ya ' ! This man knows my weakness, and he probably doesn't even know it!"

Mr. Roman began to speak; "Asher it's okay if you're scared still, all I'm asking if it's okay if I hold you - to make you feel better, of course." He said with such care in his voice that would make any person mealt in there arms.

To say the least, I was lost for words. Since my mind couldn't function any words, my body did the talking instead.

I wrapped my arms around his large chest, putting my head on his side. Mr. Roman soon got the picture, and just laughed it off like this wasn't weird from the beginning.

"I'll take that as a yes then." He said, getting comfortable by wrapping his arms around my waist protectively I might add.

To be honest, it felt good being cuddled by Mr. Roman and I don't know why, but he would always bring a side I didn't know I had - to come out from times likes these.

"Good night, Asher." Was the last thing I heard before I was completely asleep.

~ ∆ ~ ∆ ~ Morning ~ ∆ ~ ∆ ~

~ MR. ROMAN'S POV ~

Waking up to the sounds of birds in the morning, and also having the sun shine directly in your face was pretty darn nice to say the least. But what quickly changed that thought, was seeing my adorable mate still cuddled up on me from last night.

The storm had finally passed sometime last night, seeing as Asher will be relieved to say the least. I looked down at his sleeping form one last time, before I eventually got out of it.

I'm the Alpha, I have responsibilities - but I also have a mate who needed me. I so badly wanted to just continue sleeping, or well just laying in the bed, but I know I had work that needed to be done.

That being said, I grabbed a pillow that was behind my back getting ready to replace it with my arm Asher was currently holding too. Gently doing it, I moved my arm - well more like scooted it out.

Asher would make some noises here and there, of course making my wolf howl from excitement.

"Yeah, calm yourself down please! It's only 8 AM in the morning."

Sighs ... I would sometimes have to scold my wolf when he gets like this. Yes, I understand that he so badly wants to make Asher / wolf his, but he also has to understand that he's not ready for that. He just found out that he has a wolf, and some parts of the supernatural world - let's not get ahead of ourselves.

That being said, I had succeed on replacing my arm for the pillow. Besides making some noises here and there, Asher remains asleep for the time being.

' Alright then, I guess it's time for some work.'

~ ∆ ~ ∆ ~ Time Skip ~ ∆ ~ ∆ ~

"..... yes ma'am I understand ... mhm I will see it fit, alright bye bye." I immediately put my fingers between my nose bridge in frustrating.

"You alright, Roman?" Trevor asks me, with one eye brawl raised up from my sudden behavior.

I just slumped back in my seat. "Would I be lying if I said no?" Earning a chuckle from my beta; "of course it would! What got your bra in a twist?"

I came up from my seat, and just laughed it off. "It was my Mother. She told me to keep doing what I'm doing, and spoil my mate with love and affection - like I haven't been doing that already! I also told her I've been keeping it slow, seeing as though your nephew is only 16 in a half - I didn't want to rush things you know? "

Trevor came over to me and patted my back like a brother would in this situation. "To be honest, I'm actually surprised you've made it this far. But I'm also glad that you came to your senses and didn't pounce on my poor nephew! Oh, you know Quinn would be furious if he found out that y'all had already mated. " He began to laugh, knowing how his husband is.

"Ha ~ yeah you're right about that one. Also, speaking of Quinn where is he? I haven't seen him all day and it's almost noon." I questioned him.

After I said that, Trevor's face immediately went pale. It didn't take me long to figure out that he must have done something to him last night, where I'm just shaking my head at him. Trevor looked at me, then around my room, and then back at me repeating the process over and over again.

"What did you do?" Trevor was silent for a minute, before he eventually spoke about it.

"O-okay ... So I might have done something, or well he might have done it actually."

I raised my eyebrows. "Okay and what exactly was that thing, Trev?"

"Do I really have to say it! You're not dumb, I know you already know God Damnit!"

"Ha ~ of course I do. I just like embarrassing my friends is that to harsh?"

"Well yeah, if you're the freaking Alpha and Mafia boss for crying out loud! You're just being a bigger d * ck than all the other bullies."

Honestly, seeing how Trevor was getting all flustered and annoyed at this point I took it upon myself to help him out.

"You f * cked him didn't you?" I flat out said it. Trevor put his hand behind his neck, rubbing it back and forth a thing he does when someone's right.

"Ummm- * coughs * it wasn't just me though. So umm ... my wolf sorta might have joined in on the party and * coughs * I don't remember anything after that I swear!"

"Oh, wow Trevor! So is Quinn now pregnant? Because it was a full moon last night, and you might have popped a little baby inside." I questioned him. Of course, I would be happy if Quinn did get pregnant, since the two have been trying for a really long time.

"f**k - I don't know !? I woke up this morning, and Quinn was sleeping fine. There was some " marks " here and there but that's about it." He explained.

I went over to my friend, patting his shoulder to make him fell better about the situation.

"It's okay, Trev. As long as you're a good father you'll do fine-" my sentence was cut short by a familiar voice coming from behind us.

We turned around to see, Quinn in a oversized sweater rubbing at his back side.

"Hey, Roman- ooop ... am I interrupting something?" Quinn questions us with his cute face.

Trevor rushed towards his mate, checking to make sure he was okay everywhere.

"Baby are you okay? I- we didn't hurt you last night did we?"

"Ah! N-no ... What's gotten into you lately?"

"Basically he was scared, since last night was full moon and Trevor basically got controlled by his wolf last night, and also the fact he thinks he got you pregnant." I just flat out told Quinn.

Hearing the news, Quinn began to laugh at his mate from being too scared, and gently ran his hands through his hair to make him feel better if he did. Overall, Trevor was being a big baby and that's the end of the story.

"Oh yeah, Quinn have you seen Asher this morning? I left him alone to get some more sleep." I told him.

"Yeah, we just got done eating some breakfast, so hurry up and go. As for me, I got a giant baby to take care of." And with that, Quinn walked away hand and hand with Trevor who was still a mopping mess.

I made my way downstairs. The smell of breakfast quickly hit my stomach. I was busy with work this morning, that I didn't have time to even think about getting some breakfast.

Immediately I saw Asher, of course he was stuffing his face with pancakes. His face looking like a squirrel from how stuffing it was, making me chuckle at him.

"Goad ebnnging!" Asher trys to say with a mouth full of pancakes.

"Haha ~ goodmorning, Asher. Did you sleep well?" I asked him.

He nods his head up and down. Asher swallows the food, so he could finally talk right like a human being.

"Yes, I did! T-thank you for ummm-." Asher looks away shyly, unable to fully finish his sentence.

I smoothed his back - reassuring it's okay. "Don't worry, I got you. And your welcome, of course." Showing my signature smile towards him.

"Excuse me, Sir do you want a plate?" One of the chef's asked me.

"Yes, that will be fine." I told them.

Just then there was a knock at the door. The kitchen was right in the front, so it was really easy to hear whenever someone was at the door. I was going to get up, but Asher beat me to it.

"Stay. You need to eat, and it's probably my school stuff I asked for."

I head towards him. I turned around to finally dig into my food the chef's made for everyone this morning - when suddenly I hear a faint unfamiliar voice where Asher was.

Turning around in my seat, I was met with a group of people I have never seen before, and one of them being ...

"M-mom !?"

A/N: Asher's Mom suddenly show's up outta the blue? What you guy's think is gonna go down?

Hehe ~ I'm so happy for the next up coming chapters because I already know what's gonna happen (☉｡☉)!

I won't lie and say, the next few chapters are gonna be rainbows and unicorns bc ... it's wayyyyy far from that!
