Chapter 2 My 18th birthday

I had just gotten back from my first wolf shift in the forest near the castle with the packs gamma holt when I hurried to get dressed for the party. It had already started a few minutes prior but I didn't really want to be the center of attention , so I thought I'd walk in a little late. As I got dressed my maid Emily had complimented how well the navy blue dress that I had picked out matched my skin tone. I have an olive skin tone with light brown eyes and long straight dark brown hair. Father always told me that I looked Just like my mom. As I make my way down the staircase into the ballroom I am excited to see how much fun everyone was having. The wind from the courtyard doors slowly makes its way into the ballroom, and a glorious smell hits my nose causing my eyes to light up. It smelled like outside before it begins to rain. I quickly made my way to the courtyard but to my surprise the sky was perfectly clear with only the moon in sight. It was then when a man approached me. He was tall with dark brown hair and fair skin; the first thing I noticed about him were his gorgeous golden brown eyes.
