David exited the car with a slowness that belied his true emotions. He casually walked around the car and went to stand next to Steve. They were quiet for a moment and just watched the Nesser brothers’ house. It was large and old just like their own, but they were not there to admire the architecture. “They know we are here,” Steve commented in a low voice. “Of course they know…and I don’t care.
