“Any new developments to report?” Alexandra asked the three vampires as soon as they entered his office.    It had been two days since his visit to the Nesser brothers. He had expected them to move as soon as he was out of their house but none of the brothers had so much as stuck his nose out of their house in the last forty eight hours and he could not understand why.   He was sure the brothers had no idea about his vampires waiting in the shadows ready to follow and report back to him. The situation was becoming irritatingly frustrating.   The council was already nervous about the existence of a dragon after so many years. He had promised to put an end to the threat and the delay was making him look incompetent. And he did not like to look incompetent.   He waited for the respons
