Mutual feeling

336 Words
Molly I stopped running and looked at Alex. He just screamed his feelings out. I wanted to say I felt the same way. I was super scared . He deserved someone better. Someone he could take everywhere with him. " Alex I ..." The water came splashing on me and I couldn't end my sentence. It was always a great feeling when I felt the water on my skin. "Catch me if you." I said and ran off. I was enjoying myself today. After playing in the water for something, we got tired and went back to the car park. "Your watch" I said pointing at it "You knew about the sprinklers right?" Alex asked. "Of course. That's the best part of coming to the park. Did you enjoy yourself?" "You are a regular here I guess." Came Alex. "Not really but whenever I book this place, I specifically request for the sprinklers." I said " I wish we could stay here forever." I ignored that statement and hopped into the car. If we start that conversation, there is no way we will be leaving here. I couldn't stop looking at him as we drove of. He looked so calm. He caught me staring a few times and just smiled at me. I just wish we can be like this. No disturbances from the world, just the two of us. This is one of the best things that can happen to me. "We've not eaten anything today. Let's grab something at the next drive-in. I am starving." "Alright Molly." He said softly "Is this how you talk to everyone or it's just me?" I asked curiously. "You are special so I guess it's just you my dear Molly." I blushed and couldn't say anything. He really knows how to play cute. If I loved him already, now I admire him. "What do you want to eat?" He asked when we reached the drive-in "Cake and ice cream." I replied without thinking. "And chicken" I added sharply.
