what now

Alex I was done and it seemed Molly had just zoned out on me. She looked distant and she was rubbing her belly like an expectant mother. I can look at her all day and never get tired. She was deep into whatever she was thinking about because I just took two pictures of her. Just what was she thinking about? I knew the perfect way to get her back to her surrounding. I gave her a tight hug. She held unto me tightly and put her head on my shoulder. This feeling is like no other. "Let's get to the dinning room and eat." I whispered into her ears. "No, I want to eat here. Sitting here and having you feed me." She said imitating a kid. I couldn't say no to that. Molly is mostly strict and serious so I have to take advantage of such situations. *** All set we are ready to leave now, I am off to work and my little doll is off to school. She didn't even ask where we were or whose place it was. Does she have to trust me that much? "Alex, why did you bring me here?" She asked. I almost stopped the car. Seriously, she chose this time to ask this question. How can we have this serious conversation in a car? We have less than an hour, what if she picks a fight? " I just want you to know your properties before marriage. I don't want any, I didn't know you had all these houses." I said the last part imitating her voice. "Which marriage are you talking about here?" She asked gigglingly. "Our marriage, I saw how you were rubbing your invisible baby bump. You can't wait for me to marry you. Stop pretending." I replied softly. "Let's set things straight. I am not getting married to you. I won't make that mistake. What were you thinking?" She said with a serious face that scared me. I looked at her face for any sign of it being a joke but there was none. So she didn't have any plans of marriage or she didn't want to marry me. So I've been confusing myself all this while. Not to hurt myself and have a bad day, I decided against continuing the conversation. I got to the school much earlier. "Have a nice day." I said and waited for her to get down. "Oh Alex don't think too much about my joke, I didn't mean it. I justed wanted an argument and you didn't give me one. You just made me look like a troublesome girlfriend. Enjoy your day husband." She said and gave me kisses on both eyes. What else can a man ask for. I thought to myself. "See you in the evening." I said before driving off. *** It's been six months of loving and being loved. Six long months with Molly giving me all the attention I needed and demanding for every little time with me. I don't know why I am not tired of her. She can really annoy me but I love it when she does that. I still recall our outings during her vacation. It was just marvelous. I just wish we can get married now and be happy forever. "Alex! Seriously. What are you doing here? Everyone is downstairs having fun and you are here all alone." She said looking at my face without making eye contact. "I just want some alone time." I replied " Or better still you don't want anyone to see how emotional you are about loosing your brother." She teased. "Oh sweet Molly. I don't get emotional about anyone if it's not you." He said huskily. "Oh get away!" She said amidst laughter. "Get us some drinks, I am tired of all the noise downstairs." She gave me a gentle shove towards the door.
