NOTE: Hello My Lovely Readers...before you start to read I would like to inform that the book is under pay to read program which means you have to pay to unlock the chapters. This book has been free for months now and I am compelled to add under the pay to read since it exceeds 500 followers now. This is protocol so I can't help it.  So well...I hope and I know the story will worth your money. Enjoy! And thank you so much for landing here :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ There are times in life when you get to make your own choices. But there are also times when you're a mere spectator. When all you can do is just watch and accept the choices and decisions that life makes for you. When all you have is a starting line with no clue where your journey will take you. It's scary but there's something exciting about it as well. Sometimes the less you know, the better. Because the more you think you know things, the greater your disappointment will be, especially when it comes to life. You cannot just know it. And then the disappointments that come your way...they will shatter you to pieces. I eyed the letter in my hand and feel a sharp pang of hurt and anger inside me. But more than that, I felt guilty for putting someone through so much pain while I rejoiced in bliss. I felt guilt for failing to understand what the person was going through even after spending every minute with her. And I felt guilt for getting the happiness and love that someone else might deserve. Was I even meant to have the love and happiness that I got? Was it even mine to call? I trembled as the realization of how I ruined a perfect friendship hit me. How I was somehow responsible for ruining the happiness and life of the person who meant the world to me. What was I supposed to do now? I stare at the man sitting less than a feet apart from where I stood and realized how distant he felt now. I loved him with mine everything and I know he did too. But would he have if he knew the truth? Would he have chosen me? "Ally?" He called, waving at me. "What are you doing there? Come here...you're missing the show!" I gave him a watery smile and nod my head lightly. The letter was burning a hole in my hand. There were two things I can do now... Either I make a choice or let fate make the choice for us... And I hoped before the night ends, I will know what to do. ----------------- -------------------- --------------------------- ---------------------------------
