Chapter 24
ROSALYN
I’m riding the highest height I’ve experienced so far in my entire life.
And to think… the day isn’t even over yet.
With a hard body cradling mine, holding my legs wide, I feel a rush so intense that I know this is why I came to Chicago. It had to be this.
Because the connection I feel with Chris is unprecedented, in a way I have never known with a man before. There is so much passion, such intensity, such heat here, I can’t believe we haven’t done this a thousand times before.
The elevator doors shudder as we hit another floor, a light flicking low above our heads.
The temperature inside the small room quickly rises. I tell myself it’s because we’re both excited by this, not that the small, already hot system’s temperature has registered with a thermometer.
