CHAPTER TEN

Bryan kept the dagger close to Scarlett's neck in a threatening manner and Lyon frowned visibly,if not he's scared he won't be able to stop Bryan's madness,he would have directly punched this irritating man in the face.

Lyon clenched his phone tightly in his palm "I will leave,what if I drop my phone if that will reassure you that I didn't call anyone" he suggested and Bryan furrowed his eyebrows as if he's in a deep thought.

"Ok,drop your phone and leave" he said "what about Scarlett?" Lyon raised an eyebrow "what about her? " Bryan replied impatiently.

A message was sent to Lyon's phone right at this moment,he casually glanced at the phone and smirked.

"Who's that?" Bryan asked "some crazy dude I guess,I don't know who" Lyon replied casually and Bryan frowned.

Bryan suddenly let out a loud scream and Lyon was quick to react,he directly used his hand as a guard around Scarlett's neck while Bryan fell down and fainted.

A deep cut formed around Lyon's hand and he silently stared at the cut while Scarlett stared in shock, completely shaken. If Lyon hadn't made his move fast enough, falling down, Bryan would definitely split her neck.

It took her almost a minute to come back to her senses,she quickly held Lyon's injured hand in fear " you are bleeding" her phone sounded shaken. She tried to stop the blood someway but she's just messing around not letting go of his hand.

The door opened and Mr Avi hurried inside "young master" he called sounding a little anxious "why would you recklessly guard against a dagger like that?" He said worriedly.

"I'm fine, it's just a small cut,don't make such a big deal out of it" said Lyon and the man could only smile.

"Take the three of them away,how dare this thing threaten me" said Lyon coldly then took Scarlett's hand and walked out of the house.

Mr Avi followed while instructing the men to take the three men inside the house,he then took Lyon to the car, completely against him driving back home himself.

Lyon and Scarlett sat at the backseat and Scarlett asked for first aid. Mr Avi gave her the little first aid box in the car and she quickly focused on Lyon's injury.

"I'm sorry for misunderstanding you,you even got hurt because of me,sorry ,sorry" she pleaded with tears streaming down her face.

"Why are you crying? You are the one who got a dagger held against your neck" he said displeased but Scarlett completely ignored that.

Her mind was in total chaos, she's nearly screaming at this rate. She even called him a liar but he saved her,she blamed him,she called him all sorts of names but he didn't take it to heart . Also, he's obviously from a wealthy family and she has been treating him badly when he works at her restaurant. She's scared she will be punished.

She could only focus all her attention on the wound,she cleaned then wrapped it up,she did all these with extreme care. Lyon nearly burst into laughter at her.

"Go home directly, she's not completely okay yet,she must have been shaken by the incident," Lyon said to Mr Avi.

When they arrived at Lyon's penthouse, Scarlett couldn't believe her eyes,she burst into fresh tears completely confusing Mr Avi and Lyon.

"This is your place?" She asked and he nodded and Scarlett suddenly knelt on the floor.

"I swear I didn't mean to blame you," she said pleadingly. She's scared witless at this rate,how could she say those words to someone whose house can buy her entire family's property over and over again.

Lyon pulled her up and said gently " I know,I won't do anything to you as well. I'm not a good person but definitely not a bad person as well,ok? " He spoke gently but sternly.

After reassuring her for the only god knows time,she finally agreed to enter the penthouse with him.

The maids quickly attended to her. According to Mr Avi,they took a shower then helped her relax while a doctor came over to check her condition.

"Young master,you really shouldn't go to those kinds of places alone,you are not completely okay yet and yet you went ahead to fight,what if you got injured" Mr Avi looked worried.

"Don't worry Mr Avi,my mom didn't raise a fragile chicken before she died"Lyon looked completely relaxed and Mr Avi could only sighed.

"Find out what jasper did to my dorm mate's little sister,who is involved and bring evidence along , I'm talking about Jason and his sister is a freshman" Lyon said and Mr Avi nodded then left.

At the capital, Amber was kept in a room while her father refused to see her;she was starved since she couldn't seduce Lyon.

"You are such a waste,you can't even seduce him,you are obviously older but you are so useless"Mrs Jeremy, Amber's mom sneered.

"Mom,are you blaming me? I wasn't the one who slapped him,even though I splash that wine on him,he deserves it" Amber screamed.

"Shut up!" She was directly slapped "useless, aren't you always proud of being beautiful,you couldn't seduce him, silly " Mrs Jeremy said.

A loud scream broke the tense atmosphere in the room and Mrs Jeremy smirked ,"that toy boy is so fragile, already screaming at such a light t*****e" she sneered.

In the other room,Dylan was tied to a chair and was getting whipped by two different men. "How dare you cause me such a big trouble?" Asked Mr Jeremy angrily.

" I was just defending miss Amber " Dylan said weakly but all he got was more whipping,he continued to scream.

Amber was taken out of the dark room and her mom took her home to talk to her as requested or forced by her father.

"Look at this video,that is the video of you kissing Lyon,we are going to post this,put a little bit of how you guys were once close but he decided to dump you for another girl,a little scandal and then you will continue by yourself, I've help you enough already "Mrs Jeremy said.

"This is the Norman family we are talking about,can we really do that?" Asked Amber,a little timidly.

"Shut up,so short sighted " Mrs Jeremy said " also go and bathe,you stinks,who would get seduced by you if you only smell like s**t " she sent her away immediately.

The next day, a video of Lyon and Amber kissing went viral and even though the lower part was blurred it could be seen that Amber is clearly n***d.

Under the video was a little message "are all the Norman family like this? Abandoning what they promised to cherish after seeing someone prettier?"

It quickly caused a big stir when the Normans were tagged, almost everyone know about how Norman mavin used to have two women and the one with the younger son is actually the main wife ,they quickly concluded the Norman must have a fetish for abandoning their first loves and Lyon's informations were quickly dug out which led him into the mid of the scandal.
