CHAPTER FIFTEEN

Lyon left the penthouse to visit Scarlett at her house,ever since the last time he helped her escape from Noah and his colleagues,he hadn't visited her.
He actually found it strange that she left his house without informing him but he took no offense to that anyway.
As soon as he got to the house,he knocked softly and just a few seconds later, Scarlett opened the door.
She was pretty shocked to see him and after a moment of shock,she invited him inside the house.
Lyon glanced around the house as he walked after her before he sat down on the couch.
Scarlett seemed a little nervous around him and didn't even know how to start any conversation with him.
She's a lot better than the other day now and her injuries are healing very well while Lyon on the other hand still had the bandage around his head.
After some awkward moments,she finally said "thank you for the other time" . She spoke softly and he nodded with a satisfied smile.
"I wanted to know how you are doing" he said casually and Scarlett nodded in understanding.
"My mom and dad are currently out,they have to take up a new job since the restaurant closed down already " she said when she caught him looking around the house,she thought he was looking for whoever she lived with.
"Out of work?" He raised an eyebrow and Scarlett nodded with a little smile.
"Many things were ruined in the restaurant including the building so we can't return there " she explained.
"I see" he didn't stay for too long there and quickly left the house.
He was driving on a highway when he noticed something off and suspicious.
Ever since his car drove off from Scarlett house,the truck behind had been going on the same route as him.
He thought it was just a coincidence but something tells him it's not.
To confirm his own suspicion,he decided to take a turn to the left which led to somewhere different from his original route.
His doubts were confirmed when the truck actually followed the same route.
He drov for more than ten minutes after that sudden turn but the truck didn't stop trailing him so he took out his phone.
He texted Mr Avi immediately and made it known of the suspicious truck following him.
The old man received the message immediately and a call came in at once.
"Young master,where are you?" Mr Avi asked " I don't know actually,I just took a turn to confirm my doubt" Lyon replied.
"Just keep driving,I will track down to the location soon" he said and Lyon replied with an "ok" then hung up.
Maybe the truck's driver finally lost all his patience,he drove roughly and swiftly drove to a sudden stop in front of him causing him to hurriedly step on the brake.
The driver from the truck got down immediately and while all his senses told him this man is dangerous,he didn't try to escape.
When the man got to his car,he knocked on gis car window .
Lyon rolled down the glasses and looked at the man with a questioning look.
"Will you come with me gently or roughly" the man quickly laid down the choices and Lyon went silent.
"Look the choice is yours and I'm definitely not the easy going type,you refused to choose and I will drag your asd down now" he said annoyed.
"Who are you?" Lyon asked, trying to sound as calm as he could.
"Someone that will kill you, that's enough for you not to die and become a wandering ghost" replied the man with a chilly smile.
"Who sent you?" He asked "shut up and just get out here" the man snapped angrily.
He roughly grabbed the door handle and opened it forcefully then dragged him down.
"Do you think I'm here to joke around?" he asked irritatedly.
His fist swift sharply towards Lyon's face but his reflexes proved to be better and he dodged.
He easily freed himself from the man's grip and frowned.
"Damn,she didn't tell me he's a spicy one" the man murmured and tap the Bluetooth connected to his ear.
"This might be more troublesome than we expected…" he didn't get the chance to continue when Lyon attacked him .
He definitely won't wait for him to call for backup,he doesn't know when Mr Avi will be able to find him so no risk can be taken.
"Damn" the man cursed and faced Lyon immediately, he's not a pushover himself.
No less than two minutes after they started fighting,two other cars suddenly pulled up and the driver's men came down.
Lyon knee he's at a disadvantage immediately and before he even reacts ,he is knocked out swiftly by a sneak attack from behind.
