The next day,at the police station, Jasper came out of the station with Benita and some securities.
He changed his clothes already and looked less like a newly released prisoner.
Benita also dressed up nicely with the thought that Jasper's mom will come to the station to get him,she wanted to make a very good first impression.
"Are we going to your house? Is your mom there?" She asked, trying to sound as unconcerned as she could.
"No,mom is waiting for us at a hotel," he replied and she nodded.
"She will surely take fancy to ke when she realizes how much I stood by her son's side and how much I hate Lyon" she thought.
They got into one of the packed cars and the driver started the car and drove away.
"That guy is really hateful,he really framed you for no reason and those police didn't even investigate the matter,they must have been bribed" Benita mumbled displeased.
"He will pay for this dearly,how dare he actually framed me" Jasper clenched his fists and gnashed his teeth.
Benita nearly sneered visibly " if not for your money ,who would stay with someone as annoying as you? You get angry and act childish over everything" she thought with disdain.
They soon got to the hotel and we're taken to the hotel's private restaurant as soon as they arrived.
"Mom" Jasper called out as soon as he saw his mom sitting alone in the whole restaurant,she must have paid for everyone else to be sent out.
"Here comes my handsome prince" his mom smiled and he blushed embarrassed.
"Whatever, I've told you not to call me that" he said and sat down in front of her.
She didn't notice Benita immediately until she bowed slightly.
"Good morning ma'am" she greeted politely and the woman stared at her from head to toe.
"Who's this beautiful young lady?" She asked her son with a teasing smile.
Jasper pulled her arms and pulled her closer "meet Benita,my girlfriend" he introduced.
"Nice to meet you ma'am,you look really pretty and look so young, it's a pleasure to meet someone as pretty as you" Benita said with a smile that doesn't look too flattering.
"Oh my, it's been a while since anyone told me I look young and pretty, Common,sit down,my son's girlfriend can't stand too much like that" she beckoned for her to sit next to her left side since Jasper already sat on her right.
"Mom,what about dad? Did he say anything about my arrest?" Jasper asked.
"You know how that man can be,he was really pissed and won't even help you" his mom said .
"I knew it! All he cares about is finding that bastard and now that he did, I'm practically useless to him?" He asked angrily.
"Calm down Jasper,he didn't mean it that way,and he just doesn't know that bastard's true face , I'm sure he will even beg you when he realizes it " his mom assured him.
Benita who listened to their conversation was really confused by this but she tried hard not to say a word to this.
"Oh! By the way my dear…" she faced Benita this time around.
"Who are your parents?" She asked,she didn't try to sound polite in any way and just asked bluntly.
"My mom and dad are salary earners,they worked at a company" she replied with a forceful smile.
"Just that??" The woman raised an eyebrow in disbelief then looked at Jasper.
"Well,ok then,as long as my son wants you" she makes sure the double meaning in her words are passed well.
Ask as long as he wants you, probably just now because he doesn't love you .
Jasper didn't say anything to this and Benita could only swallow her anger and this humiliation.

Lyon drove out of the house towards Scarllet's house without any reason in mind.
He parked his car before he realized he's here without any reason but that didn't stop him from knocking.
Scarlett came to open the door and was surprised to see him standing right there.
"Oh,Lyon.. please come in" she quickly invited him in.
He sat on the sofa without a word "would you like a drink or tea?" She asked happily.
"I think water is enough" he replied and she nodded and quickly went to get him some cold water .
"I came here to talk about your restaurant" he said calmly even though he just chose that topic randomly.
"Oh,that one,I can't find a buyer for it so I'm leaving it like that for now" she replied.
"I'm planning to help you renovate it " he said casually and she widened her eyes in shock.
"What ? No!" She exclaimed " you just laid over twenty millions for my debts and I still don't know how to pay that back yet" she nearly started yelling.
"Calm down,how about this. I will renovate it and then it will be mine but you are going to be the manager and manage it for me, think of it as a job opportunity " he said and Scarlett keep quiet at once with a complicated expression on her face.
