Trees towered over her,trees of different sizes and shapes she hadn't seen or heard of
The silence of the night which seemed darker than normal felt eerie
Her foot steps echoed in the silence as she she took each step forward
"Hello"
She called out, confused
She looked around,her gaze meeting that of what seemed like a large lizard but with eyes that resembled that of a snake , it's grey scales simmering in the night
She looked away sharply, already feeling goosebumps on her skin
"Is anyone there,can anyone hear me!"she screamed but as expected no one answered
"Please can anyone hear me...?!"
She screamed her voice louder than she had expected,she looked up,her gaze meeting the towering trees which covered the sky
Unconsciously,she quickened her steps,her steps unsteady as her eyes scanned the whole place hoping for an exist
"I want to go home..."she said to no one in particular,her voice low
She felt a strong wind making her shudder
"Come"
A voice sounded, frightening her
She turned, searching for who had called but she saw no one
"Come" it sounded again
"Is anyone there?!..."
She asked, loudly
No reply
She turned forward,her gaze meeting with the creature she had seen earlier
She focused her eyes on it, it's golden eyes staring back to her as if trying to pierce into her soul
She broke the stare, turning the other way and walking quickly,then jugging until she began running as though her life deepened on it
After a while,she stopped,her eyes fixed on the lake in front of her
She began walking towards it,her steps slow,the closer she got ,the more serene she felt
It was as though the water was calling onto her, telling her not to worry, telling her this was where she belonged...
She didn't know when she had reached the foot of the lake,she gazed into its clear water that dazzled like silver
She bent down, stretching her hands into the water
"What the ..."she murmured as she withdrew her hand in shock
Her gaze fixed on her reflection,the face belonged to her but that wasn't her eye and hair color
Her black eyes stared into the greyish purple ones in the reflection,
She took a step back,confusion clear on her face,she grabbed a handful of her hair....it was still black...why was the one in the reflection grey...
She turned,she wanted to run,to flee from all these but no matter how she tried to move her feet away from the lake she couldn't...it was as though a force kept dragging her towards the lake
As she got to the foot of the lake,she looked in horror as her reflection stretched a hand as though to grab her
Her heart skipped a bit as she felt the hand grabbing her,she wanted to scream but her mouth couldn't produce any sound...with a forceful tug ...she fell into the lake.....
