The Evil Syndicate
Pedro sat in his dimly lit office, a fresh roll of weed hanging from his lips. His laptop was open in front of him, but he wasn’t really looking at it. He kept checking the time, waiting for his men to return with good news.
He couldn’t wait to watch the video. He had everything recorded, the explosion, the chase, Venom bleeding out on the street. He planned to send the footage to all the big clans, especially Godfather Marco, to show how easily he took down the Italian’s so-called backbone.
A loud knock made him look up. One of his guards rushed in.
“Boss, you need to see this. Outside. Now.”
Pedro stood up quickly and followed him. A crowd of his clan members had gathered in the open compound. Twenty bodies lay on the ground, all the men he had sent after Alessandro. Every single one had gunshot wounds.
“He killed them all,” the guard said quietly.
Another man brought a laptop and pressed play. The video started. It showed the explosion, Alessandro running while bleeding, the chase, the gunshots… and then the part where a small girl appeared and dragged the wounded Venom into her apartment.
Pedro’s smirk disappeared. “What the f**k? Did she treat him?”
His right-hand man stepped closer. “We did some digging on the girl, boss. You’re not going to believe what we found.”
“Spit it out,” Pedro snapped.
“She’s the daughter of Antonio Argento.”
Pedro’s eyes widened. “You mean that doctor? The one who disappeared a few years ago?”
“Yes, Don. That’s him.”
A slow, dangerous smile spread across Pedro’s face. “This just got a lot more interesting.” He stood up straighter, excitement mixed with anger in his voice.
“Get fifty men ready. We’re paying that girl a little visit.” He said and stormed out.

The Ruthless Reapers Clan
Alessandro stepped out of the car and walked straight into Godfather Marco’s private room. The old man was smoking a cigar, the smoke curling around him. When he saw Alessandro, a proud smile appeared on his face.
“I knew you wouldn’t die so easily. You’re not my backbone for nothing,” Marco said.
Alessandro’s face stayed hard. “I’m going to kill that punk Pedro. I don’t care if it breaks the rules between clans.”
Marco chuckled. “I already started punishing the men who left you behind.”
“No,” Alessandro cut in. “I told them to leave with the bag. Release them.”
Marco raised an eyebrow but nodded. “You received the package?”
“Yes. It’s private,” Alessandro replied.
Marco leaned back in his chair. “So when do you plan to start your revenge?”
“Sooner than they expect,” Alessandro said, a cold smirk touching his lips.
“I’m always behind you, son. In everything.”
“I know.” Alessandro turned and left the room.
Marco watched him go and laughed softly to himself. “He really is my backbone.”
As Alessandro walked down the hallway, a woman with long legs and heavy makeup approached him. She stood right in front of him and let out a seductive smile.
“Venom, I’m so happy you’re alive,” Snake purred, pressing close to him. “I missed you last night. Should I come to your room tonight and make you feel better?”
Alessandro didn’t even slow down. “Not today.”
Snake’s smile faded. Behind her, a younger girl named Ghost rolled her eyes.
“You should stop wasting your time,” Ghost said. “He’s never going to look at you like that.”
Snake turned around fast, eyes flashing with anger.
“Watch your mouth, little b***h, or I’ll be the one to kill you and hide your body somewhere no one will find.” She said angrily.
Ghost just shook her head as Snake stormed off.
“What a w***e,” she muttered before walking away. Snake is one of the strongest in the clan, she is also very close to Alessandro, which always makes her think that she is better than others.

Alessandro’s Room
Alessandro took off his shirt, revealing the fresh bandages. The clan’s doctor came in right away and started checking the wounds.
“The person who treated you did a really good job,” the doctor said, sounding surprised. “Clean work for someone who’s not a professional.”
Before Alessandro could reply, the door opened again. A young boy around seventeen walked in with a lollipop in his mouth and a laptop under his arm. Everyone called him Hacker, the youngest but smartest member of the clan.
“Welcome back, boss, You called for me” Hacker said with a big smile.
“Find Pedro for me. Right now,” Alessandro ordered, ignoring the greeting.
Hacker’s smile dropped into a pout, but he quickly sat down and started typing. The doctor continued working on Alessandro’s back.
“Pedro leads a small clan called The Evil Syndicate,” Hacker began. “He’s fifty years old. Has one daughter and one son. Not a big player, but he’s been trying to move up lately…”
Alessandro listened quietly, already getting bored, this is not what he wanted to hear., He clenched his jaw tightly.
“He is also……”
“Can you track his location now?” Alessandro asked, cutting him off sharply.
“Sure, boss.” Hacker’s fingers flew across the keyboard. After a few seconds, he frowned. “He’s moving. He’s heading somewhere with a lot of men. I can’t tell exactly where yet, but it looks suspicious.”
Alessandro stood up suddenly, ignoring the doctor’s protest. “Get some men. We’re following him.”
Hacker’s eyes widened. “But boss, you’re still hurt! Godfather won’t allow this.”
Alessandro pulled on a fresh black shirt, his face hard. “I don’t repeat myself.”
Hacker looked worried but nodded. “This is bad…” he muttered under his breath as he followed Alessandro out.
A group of armed men quickly joined them. They all knew the look on Venom’s face. Someone was going to bleed tonight.

Back at the small apartment, Harmony smiled brightly as she hugged her brother tight.
“Welcome, Hard Guy!” she said happily.
Hardin grinned and handed her a small box. “Look what I got for you.”
Harmony opened it fast and gasped when she saw the matching purple sneakers. “Thank you so much, brother!” She jumped up and hugged him again.
“You can go play your game. I’ll make lunch,” Hardin said.
She nodded and turned to leave, but Hardin’s eyes suddenly landed on the black card sitting on her table.
“Where did you get this?” he asked, his voice changing completely. His forehead creased with worry.
Harmony froze. “A… a friend came. He was badly hurt, so I helped him.”
Hardin’s face went pale when he saw the small initials “ADs” on the card. Everyone in their world knew what that meant, Alessandro DeSantos. Venom.
“We need to leave right now,” he said urgently, grabbing her hand.
“Brother, what’s going on?” Harmony asked, fear creeping into her voice.
“I’ll explain later. We have to go.” He said.
They rushed toward the door but stopped dead when they stepped outside. A fleet of black cars had surrounded their apartment. Dozens of armed men stood waiting.
A man with a cruel smile stepped forward, Pedro.
“Antonio Argento’s children,” Pedro said slowly, smirking. “It’s nice to finally meet you.”
Hardin quickly pushed Harmony behind him and pulled out a gun from his waistband. Harmony’s eyes widened in shock. She had never seen her brother with a gun before.
“Don’t come any closer,” Hardin warned, voice steady even though he was scared.
Pedro laughed. “Get them.”
His men charged forward. Hardin fought hard, shooting two men before they overpowered him and beat him down. Harmony screamed as rough hands grabbed her.
“You tried,” Pedro chuckled, looking down at Hardin. “But you failed.”
“What do you want from us?!” Hardin shouted angrily.
Pedro didn’t answer. “Put them in the car.”
Just as they started dragging the siblings away, more cars screeched into the street. Alessandro stepped out, his face cold as ice.
Pedro’s eyes widened in pure shock. “You… you should be wounded or worse still dead.” He said.
Alessandro walked forward slowly, a dangerous smile on his lips.
“So, what were you planning to do with them?” He asked coldly.
Pedro took a nervous step back. “Alessandro, I…”
“You’re a dead man,” Alessandro said, his voice low and deadly.
Pedro’s face turned pale. But then a sly look entered his eyes.
“Wait. What if I have something useful for your revenge? Something big.” He asked.
Alessandro narrowed his eyes. “What is it?”
Pedro leaned in and whispered something into Alessandro’s ear. The Italian’s frown deepened. He turned and stared at Hardin and Harmony.
He walked straight up to Harmony, who was still shaking with fear.
“What is your father’s name?” he asked coldly.
Harmony’s voice came out small. “Doctor… Doctor Antonio Argento.”
Something dark flashed in Alessandro’s eyes. Old memories flooded back, that terrible night when he was ten.
He looked at Pedro. “Your death has been postponed.”
Then he glared at the two siblings. “Take them. We’re leaving.”
His men grabbed Hardin and Harmony and pushed them into the cars. As they drove away, Pedro stood there watching, a wicked glint in his eyes.
He smiled to himself.
“This is only the beginning.”
