A sinister smile spread across her face.
"I can never let you be with my son," she hissed, her voice venomous.
"Even if you're the one who can grant my last wish, I'd rather die without a grandchild."
"Molly, you'll be my sons wife and bear me, children," the woman said with an evil smirk playing on her lips.
____
"Andrew?"
"Yes ma'am," the the middle aged man answered.
"Get my car ready I have an unfinished business" Mrs Williams said turning to him.
"Okay ma'am," Andrew bowed shortly before existing.
Mrs Williams stormed out of her room making her way through the corridors that lead to a door. Not just a regular door.
It was tall like the walls of the mansion, painted black. its giant structure stood imposing, holding a sense of authority with four security guarding it. Two on either side.
With the way Mrs Williams was walking , the security quickly opened the door for her.
"Williams," she called her voice laced with anger.
The room was an open space of luxury surrounded with tall shelf's each holding files with deals and secrets only known by few.
In the center of the room was a man seated in front of a large desk. He lifted his gaze standing up.
Closing his laptop, he walked towards Mrs Williams each step portraying elegance and authority.
Despite being in his late sixties his looks can still gets ladies craving for him. He wore a long sleeve white shirt but it's sleeves wear rolled up, show casing his tattoos. And it's first three buttons were undone revealing his hard chest.
His was like a master piece, with thick dyed black hair, which was stlyed back. straight brows, angular jawline, blue eyes, thin lips, point nose, tall with a muscular physique.
"Irene what's it this time," Mr Williams asked with a charming smile as he got to his wife.
He stroke her silk brown hair aside attempting to place a kiss on her lips but she stepped back.
His expression turned to a frown instantly.
"You're the cause of it all. I'm dying slowly and I'm afraid I won't get to see my grandchild before I die." Irene half yelled.
"Here you go again," Mr Williams scoffed.
"Samantha would give you a grandchild if that's what you want," Mr Williams added.
"You mean your child from another woman. She's just 18. My two sons hate me. I don't know where the first is and now the second don't even care if I live or die," Irene said tears streaming down her cheeks.
Mr Williams pulled her into a hug, stroking her hair.
"We had no choice baby. I'll talk to Scott," he said.
"Really?" Irene asked still crying.
"Yes." Mr Williams nodded.
"Do you remember the Jacobs" Irene asked.
Mr Williams instantly broke the hug taking a step back.
"We don't talk about traitors who have been eliminated by the clan. Why bring this old topic up?" Mr Williams asked with a brow raised.
"Ehm... Nothing. It just crossed my mind." Irene replied.
"You know Scott and Kirov still hate us coz the clan forced them to..."
"Enough." Mr Williams cut her off.
"Rules are rules. This clan has been here before the existence of my forefathers and my entire linage must be part of the clan for me to remain my position as an elder," Mr Williams said walking back to his seat.
"I'll take my leave," Irene said exiting the room.
Andrew was already standing beside the door when Irene stepped out
"The car is ready," he informed.
"Ok wait for me," Irene said returning to her room she grabbed her purse alongside her phone.
But paused on her way out. She dialed a number and within some few seconds the call was answered.
"Hello," she said.
"Hello. Good afternoon Mom," a familiar voice answered.
"Molly, dear how are you?" Irene asked.
"I'm good."
"Are you aware that Scott is married?" Irene asked.
"Yes mom. Did you give him your blessings after the promise you made me?" Molly asked.
"What no. Infact I'm against it." Irene replied.
"Mom Scott is so stubborn. How can I be his wife now that's he's married?" Molly asked her tone sounding as if she was about to cry.
" Don't worry. Haven't you heard of second wife over-throwing the first?" Irene asked smirking.
"What do you mean," Molly asked puzzled.
"Just move in with Scott first and leave the rest to me," Irene said.
"Ok, I hope what ever you're planning works." Molly replied.
"It will. Take care," Irene said ending the call.
She made her way out of the mansion and into her car were Andrew was waiting for her.
"Drive," she ordered.
"You heard her," Andrew said to the driver.
He's Irene's Personal assistant.
The driver nodded starting the car, within the next minute the car drove out of the mansion.
MOLLY'S APARTMENT
Molly paced back and forth in her room wondering about what Irene told her. How she would move in with Scott was her main challenge.
The door to her room opened and a guy walked in .
He was dressed in a pair of black joggers and white t shirt. His hair was messy like he just woke up.
His hair was blonde and despite his casual look he was incredible handsome. His facial features were similar to that of Molly's as they had same eyes and lips.
"Hey sis," he said smirking.
Molly turned to him with a frown.
"Lemme guess you need money," Molly said with an eye roll.
"You know girls. I have to make them happy," he shrugged.
"Matthew," Molly called glaring at him.
"C'mon sis. Your flawless beauty might have increased your bank account so please share. Or do you want me to start doing illegal stuff and get in trouble?" Matthew asked pouting his lips.
"What ? no! You'll ruin our reputation." Molly snapped.
"Chill," Matthew laughed.
Molly hissed picking up her phone. Her fingers dance around her screen for a minute before turning to Matthew.
"Sent, but do me a favor. Stay at a friend's place till I say you can return and I'll increase your allowance" she said.
"Just that? Deal. You're the best," Matthew said giving her a short hug before running out.
"He's 18 and super annoying," Molly muttered.
She grabbed her purse making her way out and to her garage.
"Where to ma'am?" Her driver said rushing after her.
"Scott's office" she replied.
"Alright," her driver nodded opening the car door for her.
She got in the back and the driver got in too. He ignited the engines and zoomed out.
SCOTT'S MANSION EVENING
Laura was sitting in the living room staring into space. She was thinking about Scott's sword and whether her brother's treatment has been completed or not.
She decided make dinner since Scott would be coming home soon. She made her way to the kitchen and with the help of the maid she made his favorite dish.
The sound of the entrance door opening made her nervous. The maid were already dishing out the food and she followed them out.
She saw Scott stepping in but what made her blood boiled over was the sight of Molly who was locking hands with him.
Scott didn't spare her a glance as he made his way up stairs. Molly didn't follow but rather she walked towards Laura.
Laura continued setting the table ignoring her.
"Hmm. Didn't know you were treated like a maid here," Molly said mockingly.
Laura's hands clenched on the plate she was holding as the paused.
She slowly turned to molly dropping the plate.
"I was bored for your information. And don't forget you're in my husband's house," Laura said her expression blunt.
"Not for long," Molly replied taking a sit.
"Let me take it from here ma'am," Amelia said collecting the plate from Aurora.
"Ok," Laura nodded sitting on the other side since Molly sat on her spot.
In a couple of minutes Scott came back downstairs. He was dressed in casual outfits which made him look cute and dangerously handsome at same time.
He sat down with Laura on the left and Molly on the right.
They ate dinner in silence as the room held tension.
Molly was the first to speak up.
"Can I please feed you," she asked.
"My hands are working fine," Scott replied.
Molly paid deaf ears to what he said as she went ahead to feed him.
Laura acted like they didn't exist , focusing all her attention on her food.
The kept on eating and Molly went out of her way to piss Laura which she successfully did.
But Laura's didn't react.
Dinner ended and Laura stood up to leave when Molly spoke up again.
"I don't know where I'll spend the night. My house is infested with bugs and all 5 Stars hotels are booked. Can I please stay here for a while till my apartment is worked on?" Molly asked staring at Scott.
"What about Matthew?" Scott asked.
"He's crashing at a friend's place," she replied.
"Suit yourself," Scott said dropping his cutlery.
"No" Laura cut in and they both turned to her.
"I ...mean ...no problem..it's.... it's your house you can do what ever you like." She stuttered.
She quickly made her way upstairs without sparing them a glance.
She waited in her room to be called by Scott but surprisingly he didn't send for her.
She decided to sleep just to avoid thinking.
NEXT DAY
Scott left for work and Molly already moved her things in.
Laura stayed in her room all day avoiding her, as all what she needed was brought in by Amelia.
It was evening and she stood at the balcony staring at the beautiful scenery before her.
The way the lights illuminated the mansion made it a sight to behold. She sighted the swimming pool and felt like touching it's water since she can't swim.
She made her way out and luckily Molly wasn't in sight. On getting to the pool she smiled at how the lights underneath the water made it look colorful.
Just as she took slow steps close the the edge of she pool a hand pushed her and she slipped falling into the deep water.
"Ahhh!" She screamed struggling with the water.
"Somebody help me!" She screamed again as she began drowning.
Molly's evil smirking face was the last thing she saw as she drowned loosing consciousness.
