Avery's POV:
We pull up to the safe house after picking up some clothes and other necessities. It is too dangerous to go back home and pack anything. Driving took an hour to get here and we are all exhausted and on edge.Two police officers escort us into the house and give my mother a set of keys.
"We will be guarding the perimeter. You all should try to get some sleep." One of the officers states while walking out and closing the door. That's easy for him to say. He doesn't have a crazy person after him.
I quickly lock the door after thanking the officers. The girls have already fallen asleep on the couch. Declan and my mother gather pillows and blankets from all of the rooms. We decide to sleep in the living room because there is safety in numbers. Practically everyone that dies in
