Brandon looked at me before move in bed next to me. “Baby. You’re going to be okay. Kaylee know now and is going to go and talk to him. But you need to get some rest okay. We aren’t going to school tomorrow. Okay. I’m going to go shopping for food sometime so that we have food.” He kissed me. “Now go to sleep.

I couldn’t say anything after that. I fell asleep now that if Cody stuck by his word then I wasn’t safe.

I woke up the next morning to find that Brandon wasn’t in bed next to me. I was so sore that I hurt every time I moved.

“Well good morning beautiful.” I jump at the sound of Brandon’s voice. I rolled into a ball at the hit in my back.

“Let’s look at that back of your okay Ari.” He walked over to the bed and lifted my shirt.

“Your back isn’t any better baby. Man how hard did he throw you?”

“Hard.” Was the only thing I said.

“Well Kaylee went and talked to him last night and it’s over. I stopped by the school today and he wasn’t there so Kaylee is going to look for him. As for you your going to stay in bed tell your back is better. I’m going to go to the store and get some things for dinner.”

“Wait dinner?” I asked.

“Yeah it’s about six at night. You slept all day.”

“Oh. I see.” I said.

“Okay I will be back in about an hour or so. I love you.”

“I love you to.”

“Here is the remote for the TV. Just hit power.” I did as he said and a TV came out of the wall and tuned on.

“I’ll be right back.”

After about forty minutes I had to pee. I slowly moved out of bed and walked to the bathroom.

Once I was done I was walking back to the bedroom when I saw something move outside the window.

There was a knock at the door and I jump hurting my body. I walked slowly to the door and opened it.

“Hey sweetie I’m sorry I made you get up. I forgot my key.” Brandon said.

“It’s okay I was up anyways.” I said smiling.

“Okay let me get dinner ready. Go back to bed I’ll call you in when it’s done.” He kissed me.
