So Much For Beer

1805 Words
“So much for beer bong.” He said as he walked to the driver side of the Jeep. “We can go back in there and play a game. If you want?” The last part was more of a question. “No. I’m fine with it. I have something else in mind for you, sweet Ari.” “Umm, and what will that be?” I asked. “You’ll see My Miss Valedictorian.” I smiled at that. I still couldn’t get over the fact that I was going to be the one talking at our graduation. Within ten minutes we were on a dark dirt road heading east. I still didn’t know where we were headed. Brandon was smiling every time I looked at him. “What do you have planed Brandon? Huh? Where are you taking me?” I asked. “I taking you somewhere were we can be alone. Somewhere where I can kiss you and hold you. I’ve wanted to do that with you all day. I wanted to kiss you at the party.” “You did kiss me at the party.” “I mean after we told you that you are our class Valedictorian. In front of everyone.  Counting Michelle. But she wasn’t there. I didn’t want to kiss you in just the room.” Oh.     We drove for a few after that not talking. We lead hands. There were no street lights. The only light that was the head light in front of us on the road. It was nice living in the country no light, no cars, nothing but the sound of animals and the moon light at night. Brandon was still smiling every time I looked over to him. I didn’t like the fact that he knows what was going on and I did. I hated not knowing where I was going or who was going to be there when I got there. Ten minutes when by and Brandon started talking. “So you can’t be mad at me when we get there.” “Brandon why would I be mad at you?” I asked as he turned off onto a small road to the right. He didn’t answer as the Jeep came to a stop. He killed it but left the lights on. I watched as he got out of the Jeep and walked to my side. He opened the door. “Close your eyes okay.” I did as I was told. I closed them and with that he picked me up out of the Jeep. “Now I know how much you love this when we were kids and you were crushed when it burned down. So I worked to rebuild it and I thought this could be yours and mine place to go.” He said. I didn’t remember what he was talking about. “Open your eyes now Ari.” He put me on the grand.      I opened them to find a small house. And then it hit me. This was my grand pops house that he built for my grandma when they first moved to Colorado Springs. When I was nine, the house cot on fire because of some guys that were drunk and in high school. They thought it was someone else house that they didn’t like so they went to set it on fire. That was the day my grand pops died. He was in side sleeping. My grandma was at work late. She didn’t get the call tell after he died. She was a nurse at the hospital. I guess you could say it was a good thing she wasn’t at home. But what I think was hard on her was the fact that it was him that died and not her. I looked at Brandon. “Is this the- is this my grandpa's house?” I wanted to cry. “Well it’s the same lay out and all but it’s not the same, same house.” He smiled at me. “You did this?” “Well with the help of my dad and some co-works of his.” “Oh Brandon.” And with that I was crying. “How long? I mean how long did it take you to build the house?” “I started when I was ten. I didn’t let you know about it. But then when you told me you never wanted to see me again I stopped for a year. What I didn’t know is when I stopped my dad and friends still worked on it. He always thought that you would come back and so he didn’t stop. After a while I stated working on it again. We finished when I was, well last year is when I was done with it. I was trying to found a way to get you out here so that I could show you. That why I was tried everything. Talking to you, watching you, looking after you. I still do that.” He was holding my face and wiping the wet spots off my face. “Now love, please stop crying. Your okay.” “I know that I’m okay Brandon, but this is something that must have been a lot of money. You shouldn’t have.” “Sweetheart, it’s something I wanted to do. I have loved you for a long time. I wanted to be able to give you something no one else could, your grandfather’s house. I know how much it meant to you when you were a kid. I love you to the point that money doesn’t matter.”      I looked at him. I loved him to. I have for a long time. But was I ready to tell him that yet? It was hard not to tell him. But I was going to wait. Just for now I was going to. I stood on my tip tops and kissed him lightly. He pulled me into his arms and kissed back. After standing there kissing he picked me up and walked me into the house. Once inside he turns the power on. It was just like my grand pops out. Once you walk in you have the living room to the right and kitchen to the left. Down the hall would be the bathroom and what was my grandparent’s room. Or would it be my room now? “Okay so Ari there is one thing that is different about this house. Follow me.” I followed him through the living room to a big and I mean big bed room. “It has its own bathroom and walk in closet.” I looked to see a king side bed. I walked over to it and laid down. Brandon was right between me. I looked to the foot on the bed and saw that he was just looking at me. “What?” I asked. “You look wonderful lying on the bed with a dress that fits you in all the right places.” He moved slowly over me. “Close your eyes. I want to try something.” And with that he moved his hands up and down my body. He made his way down to my tummy and stopped. I went to open my eyes. “Don’t opening them yet.” He moved his right hand down to the tip on the slit. “You don’t know how long I have waited for you to be mine Ari.” He moved his hand to my knee and back up to my side. I let a low moan out not meaning to. I could tell he smiled at that.  “How long have you waited for me? “A long time Brandon, a really long time.” I asked as him moved it up under the dress.  “I love you Arianna. Open your eyes. I want to see your beautiful blue eyes.” I opened them to see him right above me smiling. Who was I kidding I was in love with him. I was ready to let him now that. He went in for a kiss but was stopped. “Brandon I have something to tell you.” **Brandon’s P.O.V.**              I looked down at her. She was so beautiful lying under me. I was still happy that she was mine. She was everything to me. She was my everything. And tonight the look on her face when she found out about everything was something I never thought I would is again in my life. The smile was so real. So loving. And then when she found out what I did with her grand pops house she was crying. But its wasn’t because she was sad. No it was because she was happy. She always did things for other people. It was her turn to have someone do something for her, and that’s what I did.  I wanted her to have a life were she could have something in return. I went to kiss her but was stopped at her words. “Brandon I have something to tell you.” She said slowly. “What is it?” I was a little scared at what she was going to say. It was about ten minutes before she said it. “Brandon- I- love you. Yes I do, I’m in love with you. I have been for years now.” At though words I kissed her. She loved me she really did. It wasn’t like when Michelle told me that she did. Put at the same time I didn’t love her. I never loved anyone well besides Ari. But she was different.  She was my best friend and now she was my girl. I need to do something with Michelle. I don’t love her. I don’t want to be with her. I want to be with Ari, I loved her more than anything. I kissed her tell I couldn’t breathe. I pulled away not wanted to. She loved me and I loved her. But it was getting late. I wanted to stay here and kiss her over and over again but she needs to go home and I need to tell my dad she know about the house. “I love you to Ari.” I said and then added. “Come on let’s get you home.”
