Are You Drunk?

They all looked at me. As Brandon hugged me.

“That’s a good idea. I agree with Arianna on this. I mean Michelle has things on all of us. Well all but Ari. If we do it to soon then what's stopping her from telling everyone at school?” Cody said.

“So what are we going to do then I mean I really want to get back at her for what she did to all of us. We cant sit here and let her keep doing it.” Kaylee said.

“Kaylee we are just going to have to wait and plan it out. She isn’t to know about you to making up and she needs to think that Arianna and I aren't together. She isn't to know about anything that happens and she isn't to know that we all four of us are talking and planning something against her. Now we need to get back to school. You to need to act like nothing is going on and Ari and I need to act like we aren’t together. So Cody lets go.”

I watched as they walked out the door.

“So I have to sit here and do nothing and act like I don’t have Cody back and I have to be okay with this all?” Kaylee asked not me but herself.

She was in the same boat as me now she had to be quite about what she does with Cody, just tell we work this plan out. She had to walk throw school and not be hand in hand with him. She can’t kiss him when she wants.

I know now that this was going to kill her but at the same time I know she was going to be okay once this is all over.

“Come on we need to head back to school Kaylee. Everything is going to be okay. It just needs time.” I said as I grabbed her hand and walked to the door. 

I drove us back to school. I pulled in right as the warning bell rang. Kaylee and I run to our next class.

I run to my locker and then back down to the first floor to my class. I rounded the corner and slammed into something. Or someone.

I looked to see Gale.

“I sorry Gale I didn’t mean to run into you.” I said.

“Its okay don’t worry about it.” He wrapped his arm around me.

“May I walk you to class Ari?”

“Um, sure I don’t see why not.”

He didn’t remove his arm as we walked. He walked me right to the door of my next class and stood there.

“So um I was wondering what your doing after school.”  I looked at him as he asked that.

“Um I’m not sure yet I mean I know that I have to get some homework done and I think my family is doing something but that wont be tell later tonight. Why do you ask?”

“Well there this party at Brandon’s house and I was wondering if you would want to go. I know I should talk to Brandon about it but at the same time he doesn’t know about it. He thinks its just going to be a few guys. Michelle was asking if I know anyone that I would want to come and I thought of you. So what do you say? Want to come?”

“Gale I’m sorry but I not a party person I mean the party Kaylee pull me to was a one time thing. And plus how bad would it look if the Valedictorian wasn't at her own party.”

“Okay well maybe some other time then. Have a good class.” And with that he walked off. I texted Brandon to ask him if he know about the party that was happening at his house tonight. 

Hey, yeah Cody told me what they were doing and it pissed me off. I’ll be there for a bit and then I’m heading to the house if you’d like to meet me there.

I texted him back saying that I would try my best but it might be late.  I put my phone in my back pocket and walked into class.

“So nice of you to come to class. Your late Arianna please say five minutes after to make up your time.” My teacher said.

Just like I was told I stayed after class. The day after that was a blur. I went home and started on my homework. If I was going to go see Brandon I needed to get it done. I spend about a hour or so my math and a two hours on all my others. I looked at the clock on my bed side table to show the time. It was five and my mom still hadn't called me down. I walked down stairs to see that it was only two people here. The two band mates I didn’t remember the names of.
