A loud sound woke me up.
It was only six in the morning.
I walked down to John’s room to see him a Flora sleeping still.
Down in the kitchen Matt and I think it was Alex making a lot of loud sounds. “Umm hi guys.” I said in a sleepy voice.
“Oh did we wake you?”
“Matt you did. But what are you doing?”
“Making something to eat. You hungry?”
“Umm no I’m good but thanks.”
“Sure thing.”
I went back up to my room.
After taking a shower I walked to my bag to get my makeup. A red light was going off. I forgot all about his phone. I unlocked it to see five miss calls from Michelle and more but I wasn’t going to go through his phone I wasn’t like that. I was done but seven. I called Kaylee and told her that I would meet her half way. She agreed and I went down to see everyone up.
I grabbed an apple and headed for the door then stopped and went back to hug John good-bye.
I walked down the road. I was walking in the middle of the ride eating my apple when my phone started going off. I stopped to grab it out of my bag. It was an unknown number.
“Hello?”
“Hey is this Arianna?”
“Um, yes may I know whose calling?”
“Yeah it’s Cody. “
“Okay and why are you calling me? And how’d you get my number?”
“Well it’s about the other day- about what I said to you about you not being popular and just everything else.”
He stopped talking about then someone else started.
“Hey you.”
“Umm, hi.” I was trying to tell who it was, and then I had it.
“Umm, Brandon how are you?”
“I’m wonderful. “
“That’s good. “
I looked up the road and saw Kaylee coming.
“Look Brandon Kaylee coming so I have to go. So bye.”
I hit end before he could say a word.
I smiled as I got in the car.
Kaylee looked at me. “What’s that smile for?”
“Well I got a call just now from Cody saying that he was sorry about the other day at lunch.”
“Wow that’s cool.”
“Yeah and then Brandon got on the phone and started talking to me. It was weird.”
“Yeah that is weird. “
We got to school just before Brandon and Michelle showed up next to us.
“Kaylee I have his phone.”
“Huh?”
“I said I have his phone. He came over last night and well we kind of made out on my bed.”
“What?” She was wide eyed looking at me then at him getting out of his jeep.
“What do you mean you kind of made out?” She paused then through her hands in the air. “On your bed.”
“How’d he even get up to your room? How’d he even get to your house?”
I just smiled at her. She knows what she wanted to know so I didn’t need to tell her.
“WOW, I didn’t think that would happen. But I knew you to had feeling for each other.” We got out of the car and walked to class.
I grabbed Brandon’s phone and put it in my pocket before first hour. Kaylee walked me to my class before heading to her. Brandon walked in just as I put my books down. I pulled his phone out and made sure no one was looking before I throw it at him. He caught it and then walked closer to me.
“Have fun reading my texts?”
“No.”
“Why not?”
“Because Brandon I didn’t read them. But I will tell you that Michelle called and texted a lot so I turned it off.”
He looked at me for a second. “What?”
“Nothing really. I mean if it was Michelle she be all over reading my texts and go throw my calls.”
“Well Brandon I’m not Michelle.”
He smiled and went to lean in for a kiss.
“Brandon. NO!”
He stopped. “What?”
“I don’t know you’re the one with the girlfriend and you’re the one about to kiss me. You tell me.”
He smiled and I know it was fake.
“See that’s why I want to break up with her and have you to myself.”
“You have me to yourself I just don’t have you.”
“Then let me do it.”
“No you can’t okay. And you have to be careful when you’re around me; you can’t talk to me.”
“That’s going to be hard.”
“Fine you can but you can’t kiss me, or flirt with me not when people are around.” We both looked around the room. There were only two people in the room beside us.
He looked down at me. “Come here.” He pulled on my pants.
“Brandon!” A freshman looked over at us and we both pulled away faster; I know her from shop class. I know she didn’t know about Brandon and me not talking but she did know that he was dating Michelle. I smiled at her and she smiled back the turned back to the door.
That was close. “You have to watch yourself.”
“I know but you’re just. I want to kiss you so bad.”
I looked over at the door to see Michelle standing at.
“Well Brandon I know you want my notes from yesterday but I don’t have then let me run to my locker really fast.” I walked around him and walked out the door. Michelle smiled at me but I know she wasn’t meaning it.
Brandon yelled at me as I got into the crowed.
“Thank you.”
