(Brianna’s POV)
Tonight, in an elegant restaurant with dim lights and soft jazz music, I sit across from Christian. Even though the surrounding atmosphere seemed calm and pleasant, my mind was filled with doubts and worries. It all started with a conversation with Garth that still haunts my mind.
I was supposed to be having fun with Christian, but what Garth said to me kept me on edge. Even Garth's words can't be trusted and are probably just a distraction for me to damage my relationship with Christian.
“Brianna, did something happen?” Christian asked.
I gasped in surprise. It seemed he noticed my change in mood.
"Since then you have been more silent. Not usually. Did something happen when you went to the office today?” he asked, again. “Are they talking to you about previous problem
