“Miss, you need to wake up. Master wants to see you before he headed to the company. I’m sorry to bother you this early, but he demanded that you see him.”
My housekeeper said as she shook my shoulder softly, trying to wake me up.
I turned around and sat on the bed with my head still heavy, my hair all over the place and my eyes still shut.
“Why didn’t he come to my room like he usually does?”
I asked the woman who was opening my curtains, so I groaned when the bright morning light flooded the room.
“I don’t know, miss, but he seemed to be grumpier than usual.”
