Another week had passed and there had become some unsaid agreement between Onyx and Gatlin as they avoided each other like the plague. Gatlin didn't mind as she kept focused as her goal was getting closer by each day and each day she was getting closer to leaving. Though in the says she had become closer to Jaxon and Billy both were easy-going boys so she knew they wouldn't be too fazed when she was gone. Arro had made it clear he would be coming with her so her main focus continued to be finishing the last few weeks of training and studying. With her focus in place Gatlin pushed herself to do another set of pushups, her arms shook and sweat was beading down her face dripping from the tip of her nose and onto the dirt below. "I love seeing a girl sweat" Billy teased a grin across his face as he matching her with each push of her strengthening arms. "Shutup" Arro snapped nudging Bily's arm with the tip of his boot. "No cheating!" Billy exclaimed as though it were the most unjust thing in the world. While Arro and Jaxon just laughed. "Don't need to cheat to beat you" Gatlin replied as she continued her push-ups. "Hey--" Billy shouted out a pout forming as he attempted to lower his body once more his elbow buckling and finally he dropped onto the dirt with a grown. "Linz wins!" Arro explained before extending a hand to Gatlin who pushed herself up once more than moving her way to a seated position a smile wide on her lips. "She did say she didn't need to cheat" Jaxon laughed watching Billy groaning as he rolled around onto his back. "Look at you guns" Arro teased with his hand still holding hers he quickly pulled Gatlin into a hold with an arm wrapped around thin shoulders. "Yeah, Lin you are getting your wish and graduating early" Billy commented between his panting breaths. "My Linz has this in the bag. Less than two weeks baby you and me" Arro teased once again shooting her a wink while Gatlin simply rolled her eyes at his antics and shoving him away. "i***t" she muttered. "Come on, she's getting upset cause you know how much you will miss us, hey, Pryce" Jaxon smirked his flirting hadn't relented even slightly over the week. "Us? Do you mean you and Billy? I'm tagging along with my girl" Arro said he may as well of stick out his tongue by how juvenile he sounded. "Gatlin!" Callum shouted out as he began to approach the small group. The four turned their direction to the shorter trainer who was running up to them. Anything relating to Gatlin since the bedroom incident Onyx had assigned Callum to deal with but no one had questioned it since he always seemed to be busy. "Hey" Gatlin simply replied when he finally got closer. "I've been looking for you" Callum spoke stopping almost directly in front of her. The crop haired young man straightening himself up as he usually did. Always acting quite formal. "Well, you found her" Arro smirked causing Callum to frown. He had made it quite clear he didn't like Arro all too much. Shaking his head he turned his attention back to Gatlin "you've been progressing well these last few weeks, Gatlin. I think it's gotten back to the Alpha he's requested a meeting with you." "What?" Gatlin practically exclaimed she wasn't a girly girl but she was one step away from jumping up and down. With how good she had been doing there was only one reason for the Alpha to call a meeting with her. "Go Gatlin" Billy wolf-whistled. "I suggest you make your way to the Alpha's house" was all Callum said before leaving them. Gatlin shot the three male wolves a wide smile. "Look at you, Linz. Might be getting out of here early" Billy encouraged. "We don't know what he wants to meet about" she dismissed. "Oh please" Jaxon scoffed "you will be out of here" was all he said before walking off while the three watched him go. "Someone has their panties in a twist" Billy laughed watching Jaxon's distancing figure. "Shut up" Arro spoke before landing a punch directly into Billy's shoulder causing him to yelp. "Ow, man. What was that for?" he exclaimed. "For being an i***t" Arro gave an annoyed look before turning to Gatlin who was stuck in her thoughts "Linz, you should head back to the pack and meet with the Alpha." "Wish me luck" she smiled. Gatlin wasn't usually one to smile but the news had put her in a particularly chipper mood. ::: Gatlin waited in the office after one of the warriors escorted her in. The heels of her sneaker covered feet bouncing relentlessly against the wooden floor as she waited for the large man to come. Her restless hands wrestled with one another impatiently waiting "Gatlin" his deep booming voice almost made her jump when the door suddenly opened. "Alpha" she greeted formally sitting herself up straighter in the seat. "Thank you for coming to meet with me. I know you're incredibly busy with training" he explained as he entered the office walking around the table and taking a seat opposite her "but I got a report back from Onyx and I wanted to speak to you about it." "Yes, of course," Gatlin couldn't help but sit a little taller waiting for him to tell her she was closer to leaving. Her heels bounced that little more nervously as she waited. "Yes" His eyes fell to the desk flicking through a file on his desk "and Onyx has written me about your progress" his silver eyes turned back up from then papers "according to my son your progress has been slow and he recommends another few months of training" and with every word spoken from the Alpha's mouth devastation quickly came over her.
