Joe stood up as tall as he could, pulling everyone’s attention to him. ‘The roads are too blocked for the truck. The city is still a few blocks from here and we can reasonably assume the rest of the streets are just as bad as what we’ve seen.’ James narrowed his eyes, almost as though he was expecting Joe to suggest they put the fool’s mission to the side and move on. Joe held up a hand to stall his argument. ‘It’s still doable, we just need to be smart about this. We need to break into three groups.
