‘Where are they going?’ James made to run towards them. Tracey threw the door open and hauled her son into the back. ‘Charlie!’ Rebecca cried, running to the campervan and flying inside. ‘James! We need help!’ Joe called out from where he was ripping the tarps off the last two cars. James stopped; Joe could see him looking uncertainly over to where Andrew had thrown the car into gear and peeled out. The car bounced over the body of a girl in a floral jumper and sped away, leaving only twin red points of light behind them. ‘Dammit! We can’t wait!
