Ashford paid more visit to Luna; he had come to speak on behalf of his brothers.

"Luna, what has been keeping you from making your choice? Aren't we okay for you? What else do you want from us as prove of showing how we love and want you around us?." He asked her, sitting with Luna on the bench under the tree.

"You have done all; you and your brother have shown me love." "Ashford I love you both, just as I do to the Blackwood's, including Alpha Koen. I need to understand what is going on with me while coming up with a conclusion." Luna told him.

"I don't care about it; all that matters is for you to sign the contract with us. I promised on behalf of my brothers to make you happy till the end of the contract." Later in the evening, after ashford have left. Ranee went around to know how each of the mateless wolves in the academy had been doing. She got to meet with Luna, with a question Luna had to answer.

"How will you get to cope with them? The Ashfords. Can you cope with the bond that connects them?" Ranee asked Luna.

"What bond?" Luna asked her.

"They share a mate among themselves, can you?" Ranee added.

"Which is another reason why I have to think about it. Moreover, were you aware of where Koen has traveled to.?"Luna asked Ranee.

"Not that much aside from the fact that he was going on a trip." Ranee answered. "Why do you ask?" Ranee asked Luna.

"I missed him." Luna answered Ranee

"I don't get you; are you beginning to develop feelings for him?" Ranee draws closer to her.

"Not really, just that I have known Koen not to be soft with you; he has always wanted to hold you down without saying his reason; your sudden caring about him and missing his presence is what led me to say so." Ranee explained to Luna.

"I have started having feelings for him; he is nice and, at the same time, kind." Luna spoke to her.

"What is really wrong with you? When have you started being confused to this extent? Why not focus on the heart that really loves you rather than going for a man who wants to tide you down without reason?" Ranee yelled at her.

"I didn't have feelings for them, not even Blackwood's. Again, I am from the moonlight pack; I ran from my pack down here for protection with my mother due to the war between the red moon pack and the moonlight pack." She told Luna.

"Seriously,what led to the war?" Luna asked having interest in the conversation.

"Is the destined one a male or female, and who owns the pendant?" Luna asked her.

"The pendant belongs to a late-powerfull red moon pack Alpha Liam by name, which was stolen by a she wolf Ava by name from the moonlight pack." She added.

"I was told that the war between the two packs was about just whom to take the position of the late, most powerful alpha Liam." Luna asked her.

"My father, whose alpha brother was friends with, told my father that Ava left with Alpha Liam pregnancy, and until the child born to him is found, else the war will continue." " Since the Red Moon Pak believes that the Moonlight Pack knows about Ava's disappearance." Ranee added.

"Unbelievable, this shows that the two pack will keep on in the conflict until the destined one is revealed." Luna asked her.

"Yes."Ranee answered.

"Am coming." Luna answered, and as Luna opened her bag, she brought out the letter that was sent to her regarding the scholarship.

"Do you know about this signature?" Luna asked Ranee showing Ranee the letter.

"This almost looks like Xavier's signature." Ranee answered.

"Do you mean you have no idea of whose signature this is? And you claimed to be a higher official here? Didn't it pass through your table before getting to me?" Luna asked Ranee smartly.

"I was only told that a letter had been sent to you, and when I tried verifying who was behind it, Alpha Koen stopped me; he said, whichever signature I get to see from it means the signature of the alpha who wants to contract with you." Ranee explained to Luna.

"It almost bears the resemblance of Xavier signature, but how are you sure it is Xavier?" Ranee became curious as she herself asked Luna.

"I am confused with everything; who must that be?." " I have to know such an individual before I make my conclusion." Said Luna to Ranee.

"You can't hold to this as the reason why you have refused to conclude on chosen your mate; it was to learn their weakness, as you had said at first, a reason why you haven't made a choice." Now is the signature? Knowing who exactly owns the signature on the paper?" Ranee wonder before Luna smartness and excuses.

"Luna I think Xavier should be the person who has done this." Going with the resemblance of his signature on the letter." Ranee told Luna.

"I should believe that he is the one?." Luna asked Ranee with the paper right in her hands.

"I have not given you a full reason to believe or think he is the one." " Rather, working with my intelligentl, the reason I suggested he might be the one." Ranee defended herself.
