Lina moves around; she tried to locate Luna's apartment on the premises. Meanwhile, it has be set as a rule that no one crosses to Luna room, until the welcoming party is over in order to prevent the abuse and neglect that come from her colleague, koen did so and after the welcoming party, comes the commencement of contract to whom a request have be granted with the Alpha. Lina had to sneak out of her room, so she pleaded with her colleague not to speak about where she had gone. "What are you doing here at this hour of the night? Didn't the guard notice your disappearance from your room?" "I was able to outsmart him, she answered and continue "Where are your roommates?" She asked Luna. "They all left me, every one complaining that I might inflict them with my predicaments" She answered. "Do you mean they all believe that associating with you would lead to them losing their mate as well?" She asked with her hands open. "I think so." Luna answered. "Do you believe that you are cursed?" Luna looked at her for some minutes, she smile as usual and after answered. "Despite the fact that everyone has given up on me, I still have not given up on myself; rather, I have given up on love. Which is the reason why I have to focus in my studies." "Then how do you get to be a part of us? Where do you hear about this program?" She asked like an interviewer. "I don't get you; how am I sure if you are not a spy? It shows around you that you might have a reason for asking this?" She suspects Lina. "I have nothing in mind other than helping you." She answered. "How will you help me?" "I can; it is only possible when you open up to me." She gave Luna a warm answer. But Luna still suspects her. "I registered just as you did, which is the reason why I have to share equal rights with you all. I know how people feel about me. Nevertheless, we all registered with the same amount. We have no difference, aside from the fact that others have seen me as a curse person." "You shouldn't have registered this; now that you have found it difficult to be, you were almost strangled to death with their action outside there during registration. If not for the help of Koen, you would have ended there." She blames her. "Lina, are you here to abuse me more, or to encourage me? I thought you are one to rely on, and here you are on their side and not speaking words that will encourage me. Just as everyone needs a mate, I also need one; I might have given up in love only took this as a try." She answered. "I see you are courageous and ready to face the challenge of life. I am not sighting anyone, nor am I by their side. I felt your pains, of which I won't leave you with tears. You don't deserve the pain and sorrow. You are beautiful and should be what everyone desires. We are all here for a purpose, and soon we will be having the contract done." She spoke. Luna saw the friendliness in her, and even with that, she refused to disclose to her that she is under a scholarship. "You are friendly and speak well; you should have gotten a mate outside there rather than going through this process." She asked. "I really want to be called an alpha mate, most especially from the triplets, the blackwood's". Answered. "Every Alpha will like to have you as their mate; due to your beauty, that will as well increase their influence." "I don't get you. How will it be possible when they have learned about my past?" "An alpha with a beautiful mate attracts world influence, especially from the Ashfords; they will be proud to have you as their." At this point, Luna begins to understand why she was chosen for this, but is she the only beautiful one in the territory? Won't her dark spot destroy her more? Or isn't this a mockery? They wanted to use my dark spot to mock me before the audience; no wonder I was taken for granted today. She speaks within herself. "Luna, what are you thinking about?" She asked her, seeing that she had focused on the wall. "Nothing," Luna answered, and she felt more interested in her discussion. "all hear." She said and added with a smiling face. "Aren't you all beautiful? I shouldn't have expected this; at least I have made countless mateless here who are beautiful and as well will be good for that; in fact, it is not all about the beauty, but rather finding a true love," Luna concluded. " Yes but one with much beauty have advantage than other. Well, I am beautiful, and I know I will make it to the end, having a contract with any among the Alpha." Lina spoke; within her, she had used Luna's circumstances to defend herself. "You mean my predicament has covered my beauty, or might stop me from getting a mate from among the alphas?" She asked. "Yes, which is the reason why you have to quit this and move on with your life; you might not find it lucky at the end, especially during the welcoming party; follow with the the denies from to contract you from among the alphas." Lina speaks out; it was already her plan to see that Luna quit from the academy. "Can you please explain to me more?" Luna asked. "What else do you want me to explain?" Lina noticed that Luna was a novice at this; she had no idea what was going on; she just accepted the program to have a mate. "Does that mean that most of the Alphas are in need of a mate?" She asked. "I see you are a novice to this. You didn't read the detail in full before accepting it." She asked. "Never mind." She answered Lina, acting to have known it all. "Most of the members who have had contracts with Alpha are done with their contracts and want to renew them. It is just a year, and here comes an opening for more mateless requests from Alpha, of which the Blackwood's and Ashford are not far from this," She added. Fantastic,""she answered. "I would have asked you to leave, but the fact remains that you might not be contracted by anyone. Whoever offers you this or advises you to take part in this might have wanted to mock you before your mate. Again, an alpha who finally contracted with you, only gave you an opportunity." "So what are you suggesting?" Luna asked. She nodded her head and replied to Luna. "I suggest you leave. Quit, as I have told you." She suggested. "I'm sorry, Lina. I won't quit. As long as the member of the academy council and its headmaster didn't refuse my registration,it is a sign that my present is needed, and in other words, it is either I got a mate or I didn't. A step I have taken". She shocked Lina with her words. "You are courageous, but don't say I didn't warn you. It is better you sneak out of this premises with the little dignity you have before it is too late." Lina spoke to her. Luna didn't care to hold Lina's words; she ignored her and replied. "I see you are beginning to fight me." "No, Luna, I can't fight you; I am trying to be friendly with you." She answered. "You sympathize with me at the registration hall; why discourage me at this moment?" "My sympathy was to calm you down and to give you courage. Later, I will get to speak with you one-on-one, explaining why you have to leave. Or don't you get it from the display outside?" She asked. "If it is your beauty that made you enroll in this, then it has betrayed you. So pick my words and do as I have told you." Lina added. Little do they know that they have spent much time on this, and soon the day started breaking, where everyone has to continue with their preparation for the party. "I need to sleep. It is almost morning?" Luna said. "Alright, I have to go," she said, looking around before she left Luna's room. "She has given me the reason why I am chosen, but who might have done this, and is it the only reason that qualifies me for this?" Luna asked herself, but there is more to this that she doesn't know.
