Katherine's Pov

I woke up feeling empty behind me.

I didn't feel that warmth behind me like a felt last night.

So I turned and that's when I noticed he wasn't behind me.

He couldn't even let me know he was leaving..

I sighed and got off the bed.

Tomorrow is school already..

I don't know how it will feel like, wearing a ring to school. And most of all, everyone knowing I'm married to the school's monster as they call him. ?

Getting to know Cole, I don't find anything regarding to monstrous characteristics. He's the complete opposite of What I've heard of him. He's shown me nothing but Love and care..

Uhhh! I'm feeling butterflies..

It's fantastic how love feels..

Wait! Is this love? Are we in love with each other?

I was clouded with thoughts and didn't know when I tidied the bed, neither did I recognize the smile registered on my face as a result of my thoughts.

Infact it was until I heard..

"Good morning madam" One of the male servants said, startling me and that's when I noticed he was standing there ever since.

"Hello" I said smilling...

"You shouldn't be doing that. Cleaning the bed. You're Young master 's wife, you can't do that." He said with a stamped smile ever plastered on his face.

I really hope this one is not like Tim..

"That doesn't mean people like you don't amount to anything.." I said and he smiled the more..

"I think I like you Ma." He said and I looked at him with that look that asked the right question.

He got my message and gasp immediately shaking his head signifying a'no' with his hands up in surrender mode

"Not at all.. Not that kind of Like. Common! Never! Cole is like my Dad. He picked me up from my master and made me his friend More like his son.. I volunteered to do the chores.. that's the least I could do to appreciate him and I do it with all my heart.. besides, the work is not tight compared to my other master's own that almost killed me!" He said and chuckled.

I chuckled too, feeling comfortable with this guy.

There was Just something different about this particular male servant.. he looked like a girl to me..

Maybe it's just me.

"What's your name?" I asked and I could see he hesitated before answering...

"Allen" he said and I nodded with a smile. All of Cole's servants are handsome, but this one was exceptional.

He was.... Beautiful in a way. And the way he demonstrated his finger while he talked made me question his gender in my mind.

"Okay Madam.. let's.." he was saying when...

"Katherine.. call me Katherine" I said and he shook his head again, signifying a'no'.

"Nope madam, at least not yet. Now let me dress your hair and we'll go to the garden, and have your breakfast while you watch me clean the garden" he said but I protested.

"No Allen. Uh uh! I'm not going to sit down and Just watch you clean the garden while I eat" I said

"He said it. That you won't agree. But he still specifically warned us not to let you do anything yet.." he said and I rolled my eyes.

"Fine, but that will only happen if you help me talk to Tim to let me make breakfast." I said and he agreed with a nod

"Deal! As a matter of fact, you don't even have to talk to Tim to let you make breakfast... You're the master's wife, you're certainly in control " he said and I nodded in happiness.

"Okay, shower while I tidy the room and when you come out and we go to our destination, The kitchen first. How does that sound?" Allen said and I agreed.

Uhh . Such a drama King!

I went to take a ? shower and when I was done, I went to the dressing room immediately and changed into a more comfortable wear..

One to just stay at home with.

"Can you prepare Irish plantain fries?" I asked and he nodded, signifying a 'no' making me smile..

"So... Whatch and learn" I said and began my kitchen magic while Allen looked on.

Cole's Pov

I arrived at the hospital and went straight to the doctors office first.

I opened the door and met him going through some papers..

He stopped immediately he saw me and tossed the papers to me immediately I sat down.

I looked at it, gave him a questionable look before glancing through the papers.

Not being able to understand what is written on the papers, I toss it back on the table and looked at the doctor again for explanations.

"Well, your dad's cancer has started again. It's resurfacing again with pain so severe and with how fast it's going, sir Greg only has three weeks to live" the doctor said and I chuckled

"What are you saying doc. Dad doesn't have cancer. What s**t are you saying? Is this why you called me?" I asked already annoyed and and about to leave when...

"I'm a professional in my field, I can't make it up.. he's aware of this. It wasn't as severe as this 20 years ago, because I gave him a prolonging vaccine to keep him alive and now it's gone.. he was stabbed with the antidote and now he'll be leaving us soon. He already knows about this, so does your sister, and he's waiting for you. He said he'll like to ask a favor from you. Just go meet him for yourself " the doctor said and I walked silently to my dad's Ward still in thought..

I got there and saw Jane asleep on my dad's thighs...

It's true, because Jane looks like she's deep in tears.

"Dad.." I called making Jane jerk up from her slumber with eyes so tired and filled with tears.. she runs to me and hugs me with tears..

"It's going to be alright. Go home and freshen up. I'll talk with Dad" I told Jane as she left.

"Cole, you must have heard from the doctor.." Dad said and I nodded without saying a word.

"I need you to stay with me these last three weeks. Come to the compound with your wife.. Just for these three weeks. There is a lot you need to know before my demise. Please my son." Mr Greg begged and after thinking about it for a while,

."Okay dad. But I should have been informed about your health" I insisted and he agreed with a nod.

"You should have, but I wanted it to be at the right time. There are many things you don't know. And your brothers knowing more than you do will be disastrous for everyone. I'm glad you agree " he says and I smiled back at him...

What will I have to know? I wondered...

Anyway let's try it then.

Writer's Pov

Cole's brothers are sitted together with Eva.

"He didn't even let me in" Eva complained

"Don't worry. If I know dad well, he'll bring Cole here to stay with him before he dies.. then we can strike. Just a few weeks" Fred cheered and the rest nods.

*Meanwhile*

Katherine has prepared some cookies and she's enjoying it with Allen in the garden as they talk about different things and laughing...

Katherine feels so comfortable with this girl, as if she was a sister to her..

It felt adorable as they talked..

They were caught up with their talk when Jane arrived home and yet they didn't notice her.. Jane went straight to her room while the other servants took breakfast to her, upstairs as she took her shower.

Cole arrived later on and after searching for his wife everywhere, Tim tells Cole were to find her.

"She's with Allen. They've been in the garden since morning.. Allen even let her prepare breakfast. They look like married couples in the garden." Tim said intentionally to get Cole angry and it worked, Because he matched towards the garden with anger, and on getting there, he met his beloved wife whispering into Allen 's ear as they laugh...

Out of anger and lack of self control, Cole walked towards Allen and grabbed him by the neck, almost chocking him to death..

With a choking voice, Allen managed to say..

"I'm a girl.. I'm a girl" Allen said, raising her shirt lightly and revealing her breast region to an extent just to make Cole believe, before he'll kill her out of jealousy..

Cole dropped her immediately and she fell faintly on the floor still coughing.

Out of shock and sadness, Katherine screamed and ran towards Allen, consoling her, while giving Cole deadly glares...

Cole looked on in shock and regret..

"What have I done?" Cole asked himself inwardly.
