Katherine's Pov

I jumped up immediately from the bed in fright and he chuckled.

"You're a lucky crazy Lady" he said and left the room.

I sunk in the ground, breathing in and out, calming my nerves.

What in the world came over me?

I stood up lazily and stretched out, releasing my folded muscles.

Yesterday was something else.

Just then, it hit me!

I'm married now!

Wow!

Spantanious!

I checked the room out.

It was so beautiful and transparent.

It was glass.. I could see the whole mansion from here.

Adorable!

I opened my box and that's when I realized I haven't unpacked yet!

I fell on the bed in frustration.

Then decided to brush my teeths before I start unpacking.

Just as I was still in the bathroom, someone knocked on the room door. Slightly and respectfully.

Who could that be?

It certainly can't be Cole.

He's not that pathetic to knock.

I haven't seen any maid since I got here.

Better still, I went to open the door.

I opened it and saw a smart dressed young man. Older than me a little of course, simply cute!

"Good morning madam, I'm Tim, Sir Cole's chef. I wanted to ask what you'd like for breakfast " he said with an honest smile while I was still in shock.

Okay, it's not weird that male chefs exist but I'm a bit shocked to know there is one in Cole 's house.

I smiled a bit, to make him feel less tensed before asking my question.

"Sorry to ask, is there no female servant in this house to do the cooking?" I asked and he shook his head signifying a 'no'

"Sir Cole doesn't have any female staff. Females don't come close to him at all apart from his sister Miss Jane. The one who did dared come close to him was stabbed immediately by Cole. It was terrible" Tim said the last sentence in a whisper.

With what he just said, I got even more scared.

He killed a person? A girl? Abd why? Because she touched him?

Oh my God!

And I'm married to him?

I need to leave this marriage.. I'll contact Mum.

"Are you okay mam?" Tim asked me

"Where is Cole?" I asked

"He's at his balcony on the phone" Tim answered and I nodded.

"Thank you Tim, go on. I'll meet you in the kitchen" I said and was about leaving when..

"I'm sorry mam but you're not allowed to The kitchen. Sir Cole might kill me if he finds you there" Tim begged.

"Nothing will happen to you I promise. Now, go on, I'll meet you" I said and shut the door on his face before he could protest any further.

It's been long since I visited my favourite place in the world.

"The kitchen" exactly what I need to calm my nerves down.

I returned to the bathroom and took a shower..

Cole's pov

The living room is messed up with gifts.. Jordan and my other male servants are parking them to the store room.

Whatever gift are in those boxes, I have them all.

I remembered what my wife said in the room about how I sleep, and smiled.

It sounds so good to call her My wife, but actually so ridiculous and stupid that I don't know my wife's name.

I decided to call my sister first before going in there to ask her, her name.

Jane needs to help me with my charming wife.

She's not completely up to my taste.

I know my kind of girl, and Jane knows it too.

"Hey Lil bro!" She said over the phone and I rolled my eyes.

"You're actually my elder sister.. I forget! Thanks for reminding me" I said sarcastically..

"Oh come off it, how are you doing with your wife? That lady is a charming beauty!" Jane said and I scoffed.

"You mean the crazy lady that screamed in my ears this morning. Yeah! charming indeed!" I said with a scoff.

"What nonsense? Hope you aren't giving her a hard time. I know how you can get. So tacky sometimes" she said and I rolled my eyes again before deviating to the main reason I called her.

"Jane, I miss you already.. I need you around.. come help me polish this lady and make her look like my wife,..you know what I mean" I said like a little voice and Jane laughed..

She loves it when I act like her little brother.

"Awwn.. I want you to beg me first" she said and I rolled my eyes with a scoff

"Suit yourself" I said, about to cut the call when she agreed.

"Okay fine! You're so annoying!" Jane said jokingly and cut the call.

I walked back to the room not after asking Tim to prepare breakfast.

Katherine's Pov

I had taken a shower and dressed in a simple short and short sleeve singlet for the breeze.

I sat on the bed and decided to call Mum.

"Hello!" she picked immediately almost yelling.

"Mum" I called.

"I was waiting for your call since morning" she said and I signed.

"Are you okay? How are you?" She asked.

"I'm far from Okay mum, you remembered you promise to get me out of the marriage if something happened? I need that promise fulfilled now.. this Man is a monster! I need to leave this place! This marriage" I said with fear and anxiety.

"Okay..." She was saying when.

"Who is that?" I heard from behind me only to turn and see Cole red with anger..

I was frightened.

"My...my.. Mum!" I managed to say.

"Cut the call" I commanded and I cut the call immediately still scared.

I held the sheets on the bed in fright.

"Why?!" He asked rather sadly but with anger.

"You are a monster Cole! You scare me! I can't be married to you!" I said and he opened his eyes in shock and....pain?

He felt pain?

He began walking close to me step by step...

I began shifting on the bed till I reached the bulk..

"Please don't hurt me.. I be..." I was saying when...

"SHUT UP!" he thunderd making me jerk in fear as tears stream down my cheek.

What have I gotten myself into?

He's gonna kill me!

"On no circumstances or intention are you living this house or this marriage. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" He threatened before thundering The last sentence and I nodded in fear, still with a pleading eye..

He looked like he would kill me any second.

Just then, Tim walked in with a tray of tea, and scrabbled eggs with bread on a tray.

"I'm sorry sir.. mam wanted to make breakfast for herself in the kitchen. I thought I should let you know " he said and I looked at him with betraying eyes.

He's actually reporting me Infront of me!

"On no account dear wife!, Should I meet you in the kitchen. Understood!" He threatened lowly again and I nodded a 'yes' before he looked at Tim.

"If I get her in the kitchen, you're Dead" he said to Tim and Tim nodded before leaving the room.

Cole looked at me in tears one more time with his face still in anger and left the room slamming the door.

I broke down into uncontrollable tears immediately. Only to hear a bang on the door.

He's still at the door.

I hiccup my tears immediately until I heard footsteps of him leaving the door before I broke down again in tears.

I'm doomed.

Cole 's pov

I let the tears pour freely immediately I left the room and heard her weep.

She thinks I'm a monster too..

Imagine she said it to my face and even begged me not to hurt her..

I would never hurt her! Never!

This is why I hate Love! It makes me this vulnerable!

And she has made me tear up again after many years!

I don't even know how to express myself to her..

I didn't mean to yell or threaten her, I was just hurt and that is the only way I know to fight my hurt.

I walked away to the leaving room to find my two friends laughing and talking.

They stopped immediately they saw me in tears and anger.

"No way! You're crying?" Leo said in shock

"This is unbelievable!" Sam completed.

This is what I hate! This vulnerability I feel.

In anger I smashed my glass table.

"Yo! Calm down" Leo said while Sam ordered one of my male servants to get a knew one.

"She thinks I'm a monster! Her mum wants to help her out of the marriage" I said, wiping my tears and slumping on one of the sofas.

Leo and Sam still stood in awe of my reason for crying.

Because it's unlike me to cry about something like that. I don't do Love and I hate girls. But look at me.

"We're going to threaten her Mum. Come with me guys.. no one is taking my wife from me" I said and walked out to My car as my friends followed me.

In less than a minute we were driving to the hills mansion.

Of course I knew where they live.

Dad got them a new house.

Writer's Pov

Mrs Hills Just finished laundry with the washing machine.

She didn't think she'll be able to wash after that call with her daughter.

Of course she didn't mean it when she promised her daughter to get her out of the marriage. It was just a scheme.

Now it bothers her that Katherine wants a divorce the next day after her wedding.

"Some Men are here to see you" Joe said to her, interrupting her thought.

"I'll be right there" she said.

Few minutes later, She came downstairs only to find Cole! Mr Greg's son and two other Men with murderous look on their faces.

"So you want to take your daughter away?" One of them accused with a dangerous look while Cole looked on.

This charade scared Mrs Hills.

All of the sudden, they started walking towards her with wicked smirks on their faces.
