Katherine's Pov

Cole dashed off immediately and we followed him, stopping him at the entrance to the door, because with the look on his eyes, he might kill someone.

"Don't do anything rash Cole, he might not be dead. He collapse doesn't mean he's dead" I said holding his hand, trying to calm him down but it clearly didn't help.

"Yeah.. she's right. He's at the hospital. Let's all go to the hospital" Jane said with a nod still holding Cole 's hand.

"No! Those bastards need to be dealt with " Cole insists on leaving.

"If they were able to harm your Dad, what makes you think they'll not harm you?" I asked with concern and that made him relax. Not because of what I said but because he noticed that I cared and won't want him to be harmed.

"Let's Just go to the hospital Cole and prevent anymore trouble " Jane said and rushed inside to get the car key while I waited with Cole.

"Calm down Cole, don't make decisions when you're angry " I said but he was staring outside. He wasn't looking at me.

"Hey, look at me.. look at my eyes " I Said, turning his gaze to mine.

Immediately his eyes caught with mine, he sighed in relief and removed his eyes again.

"I didn't want to look at your eye Katherine, those eyes of yours charm me every single time" he said with seriousness and I blushed.

"Let's go you guys!" Jane said interrupting us again and rushing towards the car as we walked to it, boarded it and Cole drove off.

We got to the hospital 25 minutes later only to find out that none of the doctor's were talking care of him (Sir Greg).

They Just Left him there on the bed.

Cole went to the clerk in a hurry.

"Why is my father not being treated. It can't be because of money? Why is he not being treated?" Cole asked, loosing his temper

"Cole.. calm down" I said again

"Please what's wrong? Why isn't the doctor attending to my Father?"" Jane asked kindly.

"Sorry to ask, who is your Dad? What's his name?" The clerk asked with relaxation while Cole flammed up.

"You really don't know me? You don't know my face? How would you know my dad?" Cole said In anger while the clerk remained less troubled untill Cole hit the table making her flinch.

"What seems to be the problem?" I asked...

"The doctors won't treat her because one way or the other, sir Greg has done something horrible to them or their family. So they won't help him with his health " the clerk nurse said and we froze.

"Dad's gonna die. Hes gonna die Cole, do something " Jane begged.

"Please, call me the doctor in charge " Cole asked and the clerk made a short call before directing us to the doctors office.

"Your father is a wicked man. And I'm sure you are aware. He is stingy, wicked and emotionless. Most of my doctors refuse to treat him.." the head doctor repeated again and Cole gritted his teeth in anger before bringing his small sharp knife from his pockets and points it exactly at the doctor's head.

"Cole!..." I called, not believing what my eyes was seeing....

"If none of your doctors won't treat my father then you might as well do it or else Your colleges will treat your dead body" Cole threatened and the doctor nodded a Yes.

"Please don't kill me." The doctor begged.

"Alright we won't. Now help me treat him" Jane said and the man entered Mr Greg's ward.

"Wait outside" he said to us before entering completely in the ward.

After 20 minutes, the doctor came out and we all stood up from where we sat immediately and rushed to him.

"He's be fine. He was hit under his neck making him collapse. But he's okay now " The doctor assured and we walked to see him...

Cole went in alone though, so it was left with me, because Jane has gone Home to prepare some food for her dad.

Cole's Pov

I walked to my Dad. He was concious now,

"What happened?"I asked him.

"Fred attacked me physically, he wanted me to sign some fraudulent papers. I refuse to sign resulting to a big fight.." dad said and with range I stood up to go meet those heartless brothers of mine, but dad stopped me.

"Dad, Why? Why are you stopping me from dealing with them? You know I can" I said with frustration but he shook his head, signifying no.

"Don't Cole, they must be waiting for you to come attack them. Just stick to plan B of what we talked about this afternoon okay.. that's all I can do. I'm up to age already and I'm glad I trained at least one of my sons not to be as wicked I am" dad said and I nodded.

"Alright, now go. Jane will be with me tonight. Go spend time with your wife. After all it's your honeymoon" Dad said and I rolled my eyes.

If only he knew I haven't touched Katherine yet. She's yet to be free with me.. I've been waiting to savour her since the marriage day yet not even a chance for that.

"Okay Dad, please be fine " I said and with that I left him there and went outside to meet my wife.

"How is he?" Katherine asked immediately

"He's okay. He's a strong Man Kay, let's go home." I said, calling her a petname I made from her name, and she looked at me shocked.

"Huh? What about your dad...?" She asked

"Jane will be with him tonight, let's Just go home. You were doing something to me before the arrival of this bad news.. now please let's get going" I said and began dragging her to the car even if she still looked at me a bit confused.

On the road, my fuel ran out and I stopped by a filling station to refill..

Just as I stopped there, I noticed something caught Kay's attention. Because she was mentioned 'wow' as she looked over at the restaurant not far from the fuel station as two couples walk into the restaurant. She highlighted immediately and was about going to meet them when I held her.

"What's it Kay?" I asked

"That's Julie, my best friend and Lucas, my suppose to be groom who said he was travelling. Now these two are together? Are they dating?" She asked and I hissed.

"Get in the car Kay" I said trying to supress my anger. I was getting jealous already.. Can you imagine?

What arrant nonsense!

"But Cole.." she began and I breathed in slowly to stop myself from yelling at her.

"Let's go Home. I promise you can call her later. Let's go home Kay. I want us to have a little fun and bond just a little as friends." I said and she nodded as I held her hands.

"As friends?" she asked and I nodded a yeah.

"I respect your wishes of not wanting to do wife duties for the moment" I said, removing the strands of her on her face and staring into her eyes.

Those eyes that I yearn for all the time.

I wished her eyes could see my heart. How it beat. And her ears could read my mind..

Because for a long time, I can't remembeing falling for anyone.

I smiled a little and releases a little smile.

"Let's go Home " I said calmly and kissed her forehead before driving away..

Writer's Pov

They both got home to find Pizza remainings everywhere in the living room..

"Leo or Sam must have been here to see me " Cole said quietly while Katherine rolled her eyes.

Guys and their scaterring mechanisms.

"I'll Just take these to the kitchen. I'll be right back" Katherine said and left.

Cole stood there staring at his wife pack everything off and taking them to the kitchen.

Marriage life isn't so bad after all' he concluded and decided to switch on the TV when suddenly the door bell rang.

Not knowing who will be at the door by that time, Cole went to open the door. Not afraid of anything.

He opened the door and who he found there shocked him.

"Eva!" He half yelled and the Eva in question smiled.

"Hey Ex- baby, I heard you got married" Eva said with a crazy smile.
