Cole's Pov

I arrived in the woods earlier that evening..just in case she came earlier..but sadly she wasn't there.

I decided to wait for her because I knew she'll come..

At least I saved her life.. she'd like to know who saved her right?

So I waited.

It's been three hours I've been in the woods like a homeless person just because I'm waiting for some girl!

Now not just any girl, One who drived me crazy last night.

Gush! What's happening to me?

Was I really waiting for a girl for good 4 hours? In the woods! Not even in my comfortable house! And I'd totally forgotten I'm suppose to teach my senior brother a lesson...

And I've been here for straight 4 hours patiently waiting for this girl.. who knows if she'll be here.

I checked my phone to see if Sam or Leo sent me a message, only to see that there was no reception here...

Just then I heard Soft footsteps!

She came! My heart beat with Joy immediately! Jeez! Why am I so happy? In my excitement I hide behind two trees close to each other..

She arrived and stood..

She wasn't looking happy? She looked annoyed!

What would have made her this angry? She looks scary like this but beautiful in her Jean trousers..

This girl is intruding into my Dark heart.

I've seen a lot of beautiful girls..more beautiful than this one.. how come this one attracts me than the others and it's on the first day!?

My thoughts were drifted immediately with her sudden yell.

"I KNOW YOU'RE HERE COWARD! COME OUT AND FACE ME YOU FOREST FOOL! I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU THINK YOU ARE! BUT THAT PERSON I SAW YESTERDAY WAS A COWARD AN IMPOSTROUS COWARD" She yelled!

The unknown smile I had on my face disappeared immediately. It was replaced with anger and shock.

I'm every other thing in this life but a coward.

Does she know who I am?

She doesn't know me!

If she did she wouldn't have touched me at all if she still wanted to live.Okay, let me show her who Cole, the heartless man is!

I walked out of where I was hiding and walked straight towards her asking her if she really called me a coward!

I noticed she was mesmerized by my cuteness! That didn't change how I am feeling right now!

She called me a coward!

I walked up to her, stood right in front of her looking down into her eyes..

With her facial expression, she seems to be Lost in my eyes..

Her adorable lips part a little as she stared deeply into my eyes..

I felt so special that she looked at me so adorably.. I've forgotten she called me a coward.

I was lost in her eyes once again and just then, the next thing she did shocked me!

She slapped me across the face!??

"That's for letting those people hurt me" she said and just then I hijacked her clothes with furry displayed on my face... I couldn't hold my anger....

The look displayed on her face was real fear! That's what I wanted! Who does she think she is to slap me!? Even My Dad is scared of hitting me and she did it just like that!

She should be dead by now if not for that strange feeling in me that kept my anger..

"IN YOUR LIFE! DON'T EVER DO THAT AGAIN YOU UNGRATEFUL THING! I SWEAR YOU'LL BE DEAD NEXT TIME BEFORE YOUR HAND TOUCHES ME AGAIN! DO YOU HEAR ME?!"I yelled at her as she shook in fear.

She nodded in agreement and I let go of her. She stares at me for a second with tears in her eyes and fear on her face!

Maybe I scared her to much.. with the way she's looking at me, as if she wants to say something but she's avoiding her speech to withold the tears in her throat...

"Hey, now common don't cry.. I didn't mean it...." I was saying, trying to get close to her, when she sped off immediately.

Oh no! Now I've scared her away!

It's for the best though! At least I got her away from me.. I don't have any distraction any more.

I walked back to my car which was a few metres away and drove off.

Katherine's Pov

I kept running as my body shook in fear... Who is this guy?

He scared the wits out of me! So heartless.. how could he?

He's so rude! So heartless!

I ran back to my room, only to find Julie there..

Out of relief I hugged her immediately...

"Thank goodness you're here Julie.. I'm so glad!" I said holding her tight..

"Are you okay?" She asked because of the way I was fidgeting

"That guy is a monster Julie..He.." I said not being able to complete my words when Julie held me..

"It's okay Kath... It's all good. Calm down!" She said and gave me a glass of water.

"Thank goodness Mum and Dad didn't notice I left the house. I'd have been in trouble!" I said affer I drank the glass of water.

Just then, my phone rang.. it was Lucas

"Hey" I said simply.

"I didn't think you'd pick" he said over the phone

"What is it Lucas?" I asked over the phone.

"I'm leaving the country tonight Katherine" he said, shocking me..

"Why?" I asked in total surprise

"Family emergency.. besides I didn't want to get married either.. turns out I have a lot to do for the family instead of marriage.. so I'm lifting the weight off your shoulders at least" He said sadly..

Oh no! My only hope of marriage is gone.. and I can never married that Gaston fool that told me "f*ck you" through message..

Left with one person...

My faith is decided! Sir Greg's son! The school's monster will be my groom!

Realising what would happen to me, I silently cut the call.

"Knowing you, you'll never choose Gaston.. now you have Just One person.. sir Greg's son. You'll be okay Kath.. I'll always be by your side. Don't worry too much.. Master Cole is very handsome.. and if he eventually falls for you then you've hit the jackpot" Julie said, giving me a sense of hope.

I smiled softly at her, accepting my fate.

"Dad must have heard of this already, I guess he's at Sir Greg's house, summiting my acceptance to marry his son..which I'm not aware of." I said.

Writer's Pov

True to Katherine's words, Mr Hills was at the Greg's mansion..

The whole compound is open with guards on alert..

Sir Greg was sitting just outside his door, at his porch smoking with guards surrounding him, while the others with him were busy counting money with machine.

His porch was quite big for all that. A cat by his side meowed at me in a not so cute manner.

"This is the first and only person to acknowledge my offer.. you mean almost all the females in town are avoiding my son?" Greg said as he puffed his cigarette

Mr. Hills blocked his breathe for some seconds, to prevent the smoke coming from Greg's cigarette.

"Yes Sir.. I'll advise that the wedding be held as soon as possible." Mr. Hills said and Greg looked at him with shock.

"I like you!" Greg simply said as he continued with his cigarette, while Hills nodded with a smile.

"Know that you can't take your word back to avoid me wiping out your whole family" Greg said as Mr Hills modded with fear..

"Good.. Cole will choose how he'll arrange the procedures. He seems not to protest about this marriage thing. So, wedding preparations have begun immediately.. and they'll be getting married Next week" Greg said and Hills nodded happily.

"Cole needs to soften up" Greg said lowly as Hills left.

Cole's Pov

I had Just finished beating up my Senior brother who burnt down my favourite airplane.. it was a tough fight but I still won, leaving him with sustained injures..

Just then dad's call came in.

I looked at it contaplating if I should pick it or not.

Finally I did and what he said shocked me..

"You're getting married Next week! Preparations start tomorrow" Dad said and I shouted

"WHAT?!" I screamed over the call that was cut off already...

I can't undo this one? In this kind of matters I have no authority to oppose him...

Oh no! What has Dad done to me?

Katherine's Pov

I, and Julie waited for Dad to come back home..

We chit chatted and watched movie while we waited.

I had already accepted my fate.. thanks to Julie's words and she staying over for the night.

Finally he got home.

As soon as he opened the door..

He dropped the bomb.

"Marriage preparations starts tomorrow. You marry Cole next week!" He said and

"WHAT?" I and Julie screamed at Once.

I already knew my fate, but what shocked us was how fast he arranged things.

Oh dear I'm doomed!

Mum's asleep..she hasn't heard of this.

I'm getting married to a monster Next week!
