The shadowy figure stepped into the light, revealing an elderly woman with piercing blue eyes and a stern expression. She held a gnarled wooden staff that seemed to hum with its own power. Grace and Nathan exchanged wary glances, both recognizing the gravity of the situation.

"Who are you?" Grace asked, her voice steady despite the tension in the air.

"I am Elara Blackwood," the woman replied, her look fixed on them with a mixture of curiosity and suspicion. "I am the guardian of the Key of Shadows, tasked with ensuring its secrets remain protected."

Nathan's eyes widened in recognition. "Elara... You're my great-aunt. I thought you had disappeared years ago."

She led them deeper into the chamber, where ancient relics and scrolls were carefully preserved.
