I went to my friend's café named The Caffeine Addiction. As I open the door, freshly brew coffee scent hit my nose and heard his usual welcome greetings. "osuuu" I answered back.
*its been couple of months since I last saw him. Asahi's hair grown longer a bit which now he ties it on messy pony, his black sleek hair was dyed into a dirty blond, looks like he still work out coz his bod stayed the same. and here he goes again, crying like a lost pup.
"hey your embarassing me!" I said irritatedly.
"but boss I haven't seen you for so long, I am just so happy that you are still alive and healthy..." he sobs. "boss where have you been???"
"yahhh, are you gonna continue crying there or ask for my order?! what kind of cafe owner are you?" i said diverting the topic i hope it works.
"ooohhh I know, I know you love scottish coffee right? I will make one for you!" he excitedly stand up and immediately went to brew coffee beans.
on the other hand Ryuu went to sit nearby a glass window and place is his son on the table.
"You ready my boy???"

"now say it one more time, PA...PA"
"..."
"oh come on baby, Pa...Pa... Papa"
"atchaaa"
"no no no, its Pa...Pa okay look into my mouth try it, Pa ...Pa"
"Ba?"
" no its not B as in Buh but its P as in Piiiii" Ryuu patiently teach his son until half an hour later...
Sobs.... "boss, I forgot to make coffee anymo-"
"Papa say it again!" Ryuu smilingly telling to his son
"Paaapaa! (baby giggles) papa!!!" hajime says it with joy.
"that's it my son you really are smart in coping up our lesson this quick... aigoooo why won't you say it one more time?"
"Papa!!!"
"oh yes! THAT SOUND IS A PERFECTION!" Ryuu proudly claim it as he carries his son and hugged him tightly into his chest.
"ahem... uhm bosss?"
"yo Asahi did you hear that?"
"uhmm yes.. your son was a badass I mean a genius!"
"I know... but where's my coffee?"
"the... the coffee?" (asahi's voice is trembling)
"yes the coffee? MY C O F F E E?" ryuu is now shooting glare to poor asahi
"well you see boss, when you've been gone missing I...I closed the shop to look for you." asahi tries to explain.
"and what's the connection with that on my order?"
"cococco..connection, hahaha... the connection is isi is that uhmm since I close the shop down to focus on looking for you... And actually after months I just open now again and and the uhmmm you are actually my first customer..."
"so what if I am your first customer? you think I can't pay my order?"
" no its not like that... its...its not you but me-"
"what? cut the chase Asahi!"
"well boss, I forgot now how to make those coffee... I do not know how to brew coffee beans anymore or make pancakes or bake them... I just.. I forget how to do it!!! oh boss I am so sorry!!!" Asahi burst again into tears

"but if loosing that talent is the sacrifice to see you again I won't regret it .. cause bo-"
"shut up" my kick almost landed to asahi's face because of the nonsensical things he utters ... goodness this is so irritating i thought I could drink now my favorite coffee that he makes after all this months but my son started to cry
(baby cries)
" oh poor hajime, I almost let you see violence... now see baby no one is hurt"
"papa!!! (still crying)"
"I know baby I am so sorry... it won't happen again" I said then asahi for goodness sake... is crying
"oh boss can I call you papa too?" he pleads
"no way!" i said
" let's go to the kitchen and show me how you do it, I might help you with it..."
"sure boss"
one f*ck*ng hour later...
"what the h*ck is this?" I complained
" see boss, I don't know if my skills had gotten rusty I am following my own notes but still can't have the taste that I wanted."
"I can't even explain the taste of this ...its aroma too are not that stong its more of like a stale one"
"oh boss what should I do?"
"I don't know? may I see the pack? maybe you got a wrong brand"
"no boss... I never change the brand that I use... either way here" asahi pass the coffee bean packet to Ryuu and observe it really well... as for Hajime like his father also see the packet thouroughly
*'ahhh like father like son... I wonder how are they really... and now that Ms. Megan is not here anymore... my boss really brokedown last time.'
"hoy asahi!"
Asahi who is deep in thoughts suddenly came back to reality
"ah yes boss what's the matter?"
"this beans... are EXPIRED!"
"..."
" four months ago..."
"?"literal asahi's face right now...
"Dang Asahi... want me to die from food poisoning or something?"
"oh its not like that boss, its just that I forgot about the expiration...but now I remember before you left without a word I planned to order new batch of goods because the expirations are getting nearer but then you gone missing and I closed down the shop."
"so you telling me it's my fault?" with death glare...
"No boss it's not ... this is totally for.my negligence and forgetfulness... bos-"
"fine... you're about to cry again... man up!"
"ah yess!!"
"forget about the coffee and practice with me and my awesome boy"
"really!?... you sure about this boss?"
"yes I am but if you don't I won't force you"
"oh boy I want to spend time with you... I want to practice too... but are we practicing?"
