ENCHANTED

Chapter Two

Saturday morning rolled around quick, and I got up around 12.

I did my hygiene routine and went to make breakfast which consisted of scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, and milo tea.

I took a shower after I finished eating and cleaned up the place, It was my off today so I decided to chill and catch up on some Supernatural series which I loved the most .

I finished cleaning around 5, took another shower, got my snacks ready and went in front of my laptop.

The ringing of a phone woke me up seeing as how I must've fell asleep.

"Hello?" I answered while yawing my

reply.

"Come outta door." "Come outta door."

Now who the f**k is calling me at 9:30 in the night saying that bullshit? I checked the call log and saw it was my friend Janay. Lucky motherfucker.

I went outside to see her sitting on my steps just chilling and scrolling through her mobile phone.

"Girl what the f**k do you want?" I asked her as I opened the grill to let her in.

"Mi waah company fi go pan e road bredda". She said sheepishly. (I need company to go on the road)

I started looking around cause I know she was not talking to me. Its freezing outside. Im surprised she didnt freeze her skinny ass on her walk over here.

"Say sike right now bruh". I laughed loudly while looking at her.

Janay looks around confused before

answering,

"No, I really want you to follow me. I need some pads and s**t and the only place open right now is the gas station

and thats too far to be going alone".

I wanted to cry then and there because

she was right and sadly, I couldnt even give her some pads for the night because I ran out.

I was supposed to get some today, but it was my lazy day.

"Ugh, fine fine. Let me just freshen up then we can go". I reply sullenly and walked away to my room.

I changed from my lounge clothes to sweats and a sweater with some woolen socks. I walk to the bathroom to rinse my mouth with mouthwash and wash my face and then we were out.

The walk to the gas station was done in a comfortable silence.

Janay went to get her things and I picked up a chocolate bar and a bottle of water.

"Thats gonna be $700".

The cashier replied to Janay when she finished ringing the stuff up including my things.

Janay paid her and we made her way back to my place because aint no way I was gonna walk home alone at this time nor was Janay gonna be walking back to her place.

We made it back home and I cleaned up the snack wrappers in my room and sat the laptop on the bedside table.

Janay emerged from the bathroom and came onto the bed, and we watched Supernatural until we fell asleep.
