PRAY WITHOUT CEASING 04242025

1045 Words
April 24, 2025 12:46pm "Pray without ceasing." At this time, Lord, I am praying now for Tita Tpie and for the Cortez and Locsin families—that their faith in You would be strengthened even more. Only You, Lord, know what will happen today. Whether it's good news or bad news, Lord, You always have a purpose for everything that happens in our lives. Protect Tita Tpie, Lord, during her brain surgery and in the other areas of her body that still need healing. You are the one who will guide the doctor, Lord, the nurses caring for her, and the family members who are there right now. Be their strength, Lord. As one church, we pray together for You, Lord, acknowledging that You are sovereign over everything. Life and death are in Your hands, and we submit to whatever Your will may be for us. Let Your love always abound in us, and help us not to dwell on our negative thoughts. We also don’t want to be overly positive to the point of false hope—but instead, we want to fully depend on You, Lord, not on our own strength. Proverbs 4:10 10 Hear, my son, and receive my sayings, And the years of your life will be many. Colossians 3:14-17 14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. As we continue to pray for Tita Tpie, may we all be in one spirit nga gadayaw kag worship sa Imo Lord sa amo ni nga moment. As the song says: Both of my hands held high In blessing or sacrifice You deserve all my praise That will never change, never change (Never Change - Jesus Culture) Lord, this is such a heavy testing season right now, especially since I’m currently attending the Kick-Off Session for Tenured Teachers at 51Talk. But even so, I choose to continue praying for Tita Tpie right now. Thank You still, Lord, for the certificate. I never realized I’d stay this long at 51Talk. Even if the salary isn’t much, I will treasure this blessing that You’ve given me. Teachers are needed, and I may not be the perfect one, but I will do my best, Lord, that even in small ways—through every successful lesson—my students will feel that they’ve learned something and that they’re happy in our sessions. Lord, I continue to lift up Tita Tpie in prayer. I just received news earlier that they’re needing another surgeon for the operation, and I pray that help will come—that the operation will be successful. I pray, Lord, for more strength and more faith for Tita Tpie. As she has a deep conversation with You, I pray, Lord, that the pain she’s feeling would be gone, and that she would be able to move freely again so she can serve You even more fully. Tita Tpie is very dear to us, Lord, and whatever Your will is—we will submit to You. All the more, we will praise You. All the more, we will worship You. In good times or in bad, You still deserve all the praise, for You never change. You will always be the same God whom we will continually serve. The song about waiting, breakthrough, and how You always make a way in times like these—it really hits me hard, Lord. We remember that You are the same God yesterday, today, and forever. How could we ever forget Your goodness? How could we ever forget Your grace, Your mercy, and Your love for us? How could we ever forget the hope that is always available to us in moments like these? You always make a way for us—to recover, to be restored, to reset, to move forward, and to continue serving You, praising You, and worshiping You in every single way we can. We can never match who You truly are in our lives, Lord. We will never measure up to how incredible You are to us—the way You give, the way You forgive, the way You bring us joy and lift us when we’re down. Every moment we spend with You is so precious—beyond explanation—but we just want to praise You and glorify You always. Lord, whatever is happening right now in the life of Pastor Edman, in what Tita Tpie is undergoing, in what their whole family is feeling, and even in the church—we pray that all of it will bring us even closer to You and not just to people. We will always entrust our lives to You because there’s no one else more trustworthy. No matter what circumstances we’re facing, we will always look to You first—not to ourselves or to people we usually run to. May we continue to enjoy Your presence in moments like this. Whatever we’re going through, Lord, may we always choose to be with You and not chase only what we want. May we always rise above our own desires and not be fully dependent on our own wants or on ourselves. We believe that You are always there for us—always available when we cry for help. Teach us to be more humble before You, Lord. Remove anything that hinders us from coming close to You. Take away our sins, that we may be more pleasing to You. Remove our pride, that we may see ourselves on our knees, admitting we cannot live without You. You are our life, Jesus—the only Way, the Truth we hold onto, and the source of everything. May we always be fully dependent on You in every situation we face. I LOVE YOU JESUS❤️
