I ran until my legs couldn't hold me anymore. I ran until it hurt to breathe. I ran for my life. I collapsed at some point. I don't know where I am. But i need to get off of the street. My legs feel like jelly and my throat hurts from crying and yelling. All I see is my father's lifeless body. Staring right back up at me. It make me dizzy. I feel myself bleeding from my thigh. He stabbed my with a beer bottle and cut me deep. I know it will leave a scar. My vision is hazy and my breathing is shallow. 'let me make it out' is the last thing i think before everything goes black.
UNKNOWN POINT OF VIEW
I was walking down the street when i seen a little girl, no older than 13 laying on the ground unconscious. She had blood all over her hands and some splattered on her stomach. She wasn't wearing a shirt, and might i say, despite the situation, she has a very nice body. She looks very young, so why would she be out here alone? Without any clothes on and blood scattered everywhere? Only one way to find out. I picked her up and looped my arm under the back of her knees and under her shoulder, then continued on my way home. I have a spare bedroom. When i get home i take her to the living room and put her on the couch. i go to the kitchen and run water in a bowl with some soap. Grabbing the towel and wetting it, i proceed to clean the blood off of her. i rush to my bedroom upstairs and get my med kit. I'm in college for my masters in nursing. When i get done patching her up i look her over. Her ribs are fading from a purple to a blue. i notice that there is blood leaking.. but from where? Once again i look her over to see that it's her leg that is bleeding. The cut looks deep.. I clean it out and stitch it up. She looks as good as new despite the bruises she's sporting. i think i have cream for them.
Its been two hours since i've laid her down in the spare bedroom. i hope she wakes soon
